Two cups split peas in a liquid measuring cup?
I cook this soup (my favourite) from 3 ingridients: dried (!) bolete mashrooms/penny buns, onions and cream (NOT sour, 30% of fat) Then I season it with salt and pepper only. The bolete mashrooms/penny buns have enaugh of flavor and color without any vegetables or additional ingridients. You can serve this with noodles, macaroni, bread, whatever. Some people like it with potatoes (I don't). Enjoy!
You meant cucumbers, right?
Extraordinary visit. Thank you for the inside look on such lovingly made works of art.
Blenders also make them gummy. See the difference in texture and taste with a blender versus a grater.
It's times like this that I wish I did fly. Thank you for sharing your adventures and showing me where my beautiful pieces are created. <3
Love the video, would ❤️to visit someday🌵
Three of my grandparents were Polish Americans so I grew up eating Polish foods. Since I have been watching your videos I will be making more Polish meals. I live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and we have a Polish deli here (Pulaski Deli). I get my sausage, kiska, farmers cheese, cucumbers in brine, and other items.
Have you ever tried to make bigos (Polish hunter's stew)? This is the most Polish and the best dish in Polish cuisine (in my opinion). Cooking this is very satisfying - you can try to find the perfect balance between sour, sweet and salty flavor. Don't use tomatoes, but the red wine and plum jam (powidla) instead. You can find many recipes on the Internet. Each begos is unique - this is kind of art ;-)
Soaking the mushrooms tonight and will make the soup tomorrow for the first time. No parsley or celery roots available. I am going to use a parsnip and a celery stalk. I plan on eating the soup the day after I make it. I got the dryed mushrooms from Amazon.
Nice Polish plate ❤️
I miss my Bushia and Mom so making this thanks for the video ❤️❤️
Andy has my favorite patterns. They are so beautiful! Some say I need professional help with my Polish Pottery obsession.. I have about 150 pieces. Most were purchased from The Polish Pottery Outlet in Englewood, Colorado (there are very few PP stores in the mountain west). But I can always use more, hopefully purchased in person from Boleslawiec one day. #bucketlist
Jak widze takie tatu to nie ogladam dalej.
Bye Felicia.
Fleet Farm!
Thank you so much!!!! I did not have any idea this was all handmade.
Pozdrowienia z Szanghaju 👋
Thank you, this is a beautiful place ♥️
If you have a kitchen aid mixer. There is an attachment for a grater. Comes with 3 ways to cut.
This video proves I can not visit this part of Poland. I would spend too much money on polish pottery! What gorgeous pieces. I want it all.
😀
Dziekuje za piekna wycieczke.

Wow, wow, wow! I would be in heaven if I visited Andy’s. I love polish pottery!❤
I can’t imagine how cool that was in Kentucky🎉 yes
I would love to visit one day, I've got a few really beautiful cups and I'll be definitely getting more pieces... so pretty!
This was great. Thank you for showing this beautiful pottery.
My family ❤ meat pierogi.I use pork or beef roasts. We have a meal with meat and gravy and the rest is ground for pierogi. I use my moms old hand grinder alternating meat, a bit of sauerkraut for tang and the gravy which makes it sticky. A bit of Magi at the end. I freeze in margarine tub size containers and this freezes beautifully till ready to make. Your dough recipe is exactly like my mothers except she adds 1 tsp.of butter. Love your channel. Hope to get to Poland soon.
Hello guys, We had finally arrived in Szczecin after 10 years of absence. We watch your channel with interest and pleasure...I actualnie mamy nadzieje na spotkanie perchaps? Kawa i ciacho...
Thank you guys! I'm from Poland and Boleslawiec is a place that I never got to visit in person. It's on my bucket list👌😊I do have a few very original pieces of Boleslawiec ceramics , I love it. Enjoy your travels 💝
Thank you so much for sharing this. I love my Polish Pottery …
Love the pottery, have a couple of pieces. Beetroot soup is medicine for the heart.
Love your channel. Authentic Polish recipes and I’ve learned a lot of new recipes from your channel. I also love your adventures through my parent’s homeland of Poland.🇵🇱 I’m a subscriber for as long as you keep on making videos.
Pottery tour was beautiful and informative. Trout or pork? That's hard to choose since everything looks delicious. Thanks for taking us on your adventures. 🥰 Love the history bits, too. Awesome channel!
It was a great video. Loved it. You two are so cute!
Enjoying your beautiful country. We have been to Warsaw, Gdansk, and Lomza. We have had great Polish food and are going home ten pounds heavier!
I Love your channel!
I love my Boleslawiec Polish pottery, but I didn’t really know where it was located in Poland. We visited Dresden and were surprised to find a Polish pottery shop. But, now I realize how close it was and we should have visited. We are in our late 60s, and traveling to Europe is getting hard for us. But, I just ache to see Poland again. Looks like we have to add Boleslawiec to our bucket list! Oh, and we had something in Frankfurt that looked very much like the pork shank you showed. It was delicious.
HaHa...food coma! I would love some of their pottery!
Next time if this possible just leave Polish language stream and add CC text where it is. Just suggestion.
When we planned to visit Poland in 2016, I really wanted to see Zagan, site of the actual prison camp where the Great Escape took place. My wife wasn't interested... until she discovered that Bolesławiec was near by! Two must-see places in one leg of the trip! During our stay, in a town called Golejov, we ate at a delightful restaurant three days in a row where we first tried golonka! Absolutely melt in your mouth delicious pork. Thanks for the great videos, and Mark, I hope you got to check out the prison camp while you were out that way. It's well worth the visit!
You're in Poland and all the writing on the front of Andy's building is all in English?
When My brother and his family were stationed in Germany, they would make day trips to Boleslawiec just to purchase Polish Pottery and they've got Thousands of dollars worth in their home. We on the other hand, have several nice pieces and serving sets but I've always wanted to travel there myself (The Mother land). As far as food goes, I would really love to see you replicate the meals you had there in Boleslawiec. They both looked terrific and now, I want a pork shank. Thanks from Green Bay.
Beautiful pottery. Loved seeing how they make them. The food looked great!
Nice Fl**t farm t- shirt😂👍
Bolaławiec, smacznego!!
I think that I got that butter dish for Christmas lol
Way to rep the Fleet Farm t-shirt! Got to love a Wisconsin man!😂❤️ Love watching your videos!
Ended up at the market tonight and made individual pan-fried meatloaves last minute. Sooooo Good. My grandmother and mother always made these. No mushroom sauce. Meatloaves browned crispy with ketchup on the side. 1 lb sirloin, 1lb pork, 1 sweet onion chopped, 1 piece bread diced, 1 egg, 1 envelope dry onion soup mix. Sprinkle of Lawry’s seasoning salt, salt, pepper. I think I need to make these every week.......yum
We alway have steudenets jellied pork hocks. That looked good . Loved the pottery.
I was expecting a bunch of people on pottery wheels , but molds I didn’t expect cool
