Heard this song on Warwick Davies ‘desert island disks’ episode/podcast. It is a notable song for him. He described sitting alone on the floor with a music box that played one song, imagining what the future could bring. This image brings a tear to my eye for the child he was, but 100% that man has nailed life!

Beautiful. My Dad used to play this song when we were kids. He's from Belgium. It brings tears to my eyes.

We lived up Elland Road when this was out. Old back to back houses and toilets up the street. No body had any money but we were all happy. Now the area was torn down and is rife with drugs and scum. Fking shame what’s happened since I was 5 😢

My parents married in 1959 and I was the fourth of their seven children. They're 84 now and as much in love as they night they met at Frolics Ballroom back in 1957. They still snuggle on the couch like teenagers and whisper sweet nothings. Mom still gives Dad back rubs and Dad still sends her flowers. He's her knight in shining armor, and she's the wind beneath his wings. This song was one of their favorites and I'l forever associate it with their everlasting love.

A little bit of Keith Emerson keyboard, a lot of Chicago brass and guitar, and one fantastic emotional song. I was a kid back then. Actually didn't realize it was Chase who did it but my brother once again told me about them and had some of their albums, this song 99% sure was on one of them.

Reminds me of drunken parties in my house when I was a kid. Always ended up with people fighting and my mother disappearing with a young neighbour and my father going berserk. I hate this song it means trouble to a then 10 yo.
