Ugg… I concede 😔 you did it! Three meals each in a day for €20. I’m a believer now. Awesome.
@@salvatoreemma 😆. We would send you the food, but I'm not sure doordash will go that far. Lol
Goes to Italy, oh no, people speak Italian.
I am wondering why you left America in the first place? No where is going to be like it! same as nowhere is going to be like France, Italy UK. Travel is all about experiencing other cultures my friend.
@@irenegodfrey7704 we were just letting people from the US, that have not been to europe, know some differences they will find. We never said these are things we don't like. Please watch our next video to explain.
You’re really selling this place - sun, siesta, and busy nightlife.. yes please! 🙏 ❤
@@strongremovalsandstoragelt8672 no. We will never sell. We love Sicily. Watch our next video.
Beautiful ❤
@@user-gk8lh8im5t @user-gk8lh8im5t if you’ve never been to Tirana, you should come. It’s such a cool city. Cheap to stay and eat!
Easy to do there. Max I spend is $10 a day average with eating out and groceries…total.
@@bw5911 that's great. The US you'd spend more than that just on tax
@bw5911 our American watchers would be so surprised at how cheap you can eat here. A cheap glass of wine starts at $6 then you pay tax and tip on that. I can get a glass here for $2.50 and that’s the final price!!!
The culture shocks that they mentioned are what's really wonderful about Sicily/Italy. If they are not comfortable in that culture then they don't understand or appreciate it and it's time to move on.
@@joannetullini6814 we never said they were things we didn't like. We love everything about Sicily. Watch our next video.
@joannetullin6814 I hope you watch more of our videos to really understand who we are. We are renovating a home in Sicily. We love the culture shocks. As our next video explains, those shocks are for new tourists coming from America. The title was a sneaky way of getting views and comments. We had to leave because of Schengen. We will be back in Sicily making more videos. Ciao!
Got back from pachino 2 weeks ago, can’t shake it , I am seriously considering selling everything and moving , can’t stand life in Canada anymore , all work no time for anything, Sicily made me feel alive , better then I’ve felt in years! Planning my escape

Late dinner was born from the noble habits of dining late because of the night parties... You wake up late... You have a late lunch and a late dinner... In some European countries even the terms breakfast, lunch and dinner began to take on similar meanings for this very reason and were used interchangeably to indicate lunch or dinner.
@marcoperetti4390 thank you for your comment. I hope you realized we weren’t complo. We love this about Sicily. Hello, I'm Martina, German living in Italy since 22 years, since 8 years on Sicilia - Siracusa. For me the problem here is the rubbish everywhere. It is simply horrible!
@@aloeveraforever in some places there is a rubbish problem. Mostly in bigger cities.
Are you serious? For one thing everything closes for lunch in all of Italy. It's not a Sicily thing. Secondly, the culture is very family and food oriented and the ppl need time out of their working day to maintain those strong bonds otherwise what are we? Wage slaves? Workers in Italy will never concede to being forced to eat junk food at our desks, shoveled down in 30 minutes. What is wrong with you two? Btw I did not bother watching your video after your first 'culture shock'. Too pathetic.
@@yvanapantino273 then you missed our points. We were simply telling people from the US what things are different if they come to Italy. We love everything about Sicily. We have a home there and will be spending the rest of our lives there.
