Just did mine. More of a pain than I expected because of the space. Couple of things to add - the panel under the glovebox will come down further than yours did - you might have had a wiring harness hung on something. Be cautious where you run the wire across - there is a lot of heat on the top of the tunnel. I found a large harness running across up by the firewall and attached it to that to keep it pulled up off the tunnel. The harness going to the module has a push mount that you can pry out to give you more wire to work with. I also trimmed the fabric back to give me more wire to tap so the taps aren’t so close to the plug.

Hey @EarthToGreg Thanks for the install video, great help when trying to figure the install, when no instructions were provided. I will note the link provided for gen5diy is broken. But after finishing, I can agree, the install was fairly simple but "super" limited in space. The only issue encountered was more information was needed, detailing which wires are tapped into which. Got a quick question I just now bought a 2017 camaro rs convertible but I saw that it had no interior illumination why is that?

I put in opt7 aura lights in my 18 camaro ss 1le. They ended up really nice. If those are not bright enough for you the opt7 will be. Check out my vids if interested 👍
