56 years later, and I finally learn this. Great video!
Thanks you. Glad to help!! Terry
50 years and I just learned this... lol
Ya gotta wonder what other surprises are waiting to be discovered haha. Thanks for watching!! Terry
Oh my goodness!?! After fighting with and nearly breaking zerks all these years. Thank you!
You’re welcome. Glad to help ! Terry
THAT'S why the tips don't have handles! I was thinking 'damn i wish these had something to grab onto to push while it's slippery'. I bet that's why ine of ny fittings didn't take grease today.
Good chance. Thanks for watching! Terry
Oh, man! I can't believe this! Yup, I can't wait until morning!
Haha 😂. Go grease all your neighborhood equipment. Thanks for watching!! Terry
Quick question if my footer is 1 ft wide by 10 ft long and 1ft deep how many layers of rebar is needed?
Sorry we are by no means experts on this subject. We did this as overkill. It was not required. Good luck and thanks for watching! Terry
Watched for 1/2 video and no rebar tips.
Well it was all tips in my opinion lol. 😂 I guess we have a difference of opinion on exactly what a “tip” is. For rookies like ourselves this type info is valuable. Thanks for watching 1/2 the video!! Terry
What happens if the cabinet isn’t square? My cabinet at the top is 33 3/8 and the bottom is 33 1/2. Which measurement should I use?
Could be a problem. You may want to go with a face mounted hinge. As far as the door size without being able to see it in person I would likely say go with the larger opening. Good luck! Terry
@@ForestToFarm it is a framed cabinet. The top opening is 33 1/4 and the bottom opening is 33 1/2 at the opening. I’m purchasing a 1 3/8 full overlay hinge for the left door and a 1 inch for the right door because the stiles are different sizes. I’m going for 1/4 inch gap between most of my cabinets. Unfortunately my corner lazy Susan cabinets kind of throw that off. Should I just use the 33 1/2 measurement (the bigger one? I would assume I should add both of the hinge overlay measurements (1 3/8 and 1 inch) before dividing in half. Otherwise the doors would be different sizes?
Never to old to learn 😂
Yeah boy! Better late than never Terry
Wow, pouring concrete right on dirt.
Where else would you pour it? Thats how it’s done around here. Thanks for watching! Terry
Unfortunately, my grease gun tip or coupler doesn't adjust like this. I need to replace it. It's very difficult to remove.
Bummer. Thanks for watching! Terry
Super perfect video, This could have saved me lots of frustration and madness. thanks thanks, thank you SIR.
You’re welcome and glad to help lol. Thanks for watching! Terry
I have this on my truck 2008 tundra, now i am getting the error again. did this go bad, get too hot, wondering what to do?
Not sure what to tell you. I would call Hewitt and see what their tech has to say about it. Good luck!! Terry
I had no idea that you could adjust the grease gun fitting. I have wrestled with some grease guns trying to get the fitting to snap onto the grease nipple.
Life will be much better for you from here on out haha. Thanks for watching! Terry
so do you turn it counterclock wise to tighen ?
You can try 😁. Terry
Is it full tang? But great video❤
Great info. Wish I saw these videos when I was doing my house but doing an addition now and these are useful 👍
Thanks! Glad to help!! Thanks for watching! Terry
Wow! I’m 69 just learning this?!?! Thanks!!!
Welcome!! Thanks for watching! Terry
I've never used a grease gun before, and my assumptions about the adjustable tip were correct. Thank you for the confirmation!
👍👍
why didn't you use chain saw when you have such a big forest to clear?
😁we did use a chainsaw. This was just a video showing off the tool. Thanks for watching! Terry
Just like the rest of you, I've been on a farm for 50+ years was tought by grandpa thats been doing this fo 70+ years before me and not one single person ever knew about this! Next question why the hell are there absolutly no instructions with greas guns? They figure you already know this?
I really don’t think it was planned that way but rather a happy accident? Either way it sure makes life easier! Thanks for watching! Terry
Good explanation .but as a mechanic i stiill run into the wtf grease nipples .next video you should show viewers how to use the 4 way tool for removing broken nipples and the rethreader with the duel size extractor all in one . i keep a couple with my grease nipple replacement assortment .
Yeah sometimes they just don’t work. Good idea! Thanks for watching! Terry
Any updates on the house build projects?
Started recently. Should be posting soon!! Thanks for checking in! Terry
The nozzles with lever on the side win hands down against the nozzle you have demonstrated.
In most instances but there are tight locations where it will not fit. Thanks for watching!! Terry
I spent way too long searching for a perfect bending setup seeing how damn hard it looked to bend #4 rebar! I went out and used a magnet on my old 1/2" bender to make sure it was steel and not the aluminum, snapped it on and bent a 1/2" rebar like it was nothing! I would say it is about like bending 3/4" EMT as far as the 'pull' effort needed but it has been working outstanding. Then I just saw your video and agree, way too many acting like it's impossible without that four foot long $750 bender! NOT!
Awesome! Great minds think alike ha ha. I generally don’t let what people say affect what I do. Thanks for watching!!😁 Terry
@@ForestToFarm Thanks for a great video. Hope your house build went well.
U had the st45 how come u have a st31 now
We were renting the equipment. Thanks for the watching! Terry
@@ForestToFarm yea man no problem i love ur channel..how did u like the skidsteer made by wacker neuson

Which is better? This or the bigboy

This video was helpful.
Great! Thanks for watching! Terry
Like many, Ive come to the Party late! I’m just glad i didn’t return my new grease gun ‘cause it didnt fit right!

Just saw your tree stump removal video. Where ya'll been?
Lots of things have been holding us up. Family health issues along with a heavy workload for our business. We have finally started back and will be posting soon. Thanks for checking in! Terry
Wow. I was wondering about that when I get to use my guide. You absolutely solved that problem I knew I would have. Thank you for this information. Awesome video. Thanks for vídeo 👍
You’re welcome. Glad to help!! Thanks for watching!! Terry
I had no idea. Great tip.
Thanks. Think of all the unnecessary wasted grease and angry people plus a few random things broken along the way haha Terry
Count me among the many who never knew this. Thanks so much! Subscribed.
Welcome! Thanks for watching!! Terry
Forks on a skid steer would be better. I bought 4k lb forks for $800. You just scoop things up and go
I agree and the skid steer moves sooo much faster as well. We have 3000 lb forks for our tractor but it can’t lift that much. We hope to own a skid steer one day soon. Lots more work to do. Thanks for watching!! Terry
never too late to learn. I wont say how many years I've been doing it without making it tight. problem solved thank you for this video 2:30
You’re very welcome. 😊 Glad to help. Terry
It is a great tip
Thanks! Terry
Thank you for clarifying this! I have been fighting the very problem for some time when servicing my vehicles. I dearly appreciate it. I just went out to my garage to check my fitting and came to realize it is broken. Fortunately I had a spare from I've had for years. Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!
You’re welcome and glad to help!! Thanks for watching! Terry
A bandaid for a bad product
It gets the job done and it’s cheap. 😁 Terry.
🙂
😁
What kind of end is that that you have on your grease gun?
It’s just the standard nozzle that came on the gun. Terry
You're talking about tightening it to get it to stay on, but so often i see people take a trip that is as tight as it goes, even brand new, and just shove it on the zerk. In the long run it ruins them, and there's no adjustment to make it tighter
I agree. Terry
Thanks for posting this! I had the opposite problem - the coupler wouldn't fit on to the zerk at first. Once I loosened things up (took a lot of effort) I was able to couple on to the zerk with no problem. Thought I was going to need to purchase a new coupler! Thanks, again!
You’re welcome! Glad it worked out for you. Thanks for watching! Terry
Are you guys removing those? Are not worried about rusting then cracking of concrete
I have zero concerns. It’s done all the time. We have rebar property line markers that are 1/4 rebar that have been in the ground well over 50 years. Still there. Besides its not connected to the structural rebar. If it dd rust it will be a 1/2 inch hole going nowhere. I drill much larger holes in concrete during construction and its never a problem. Terry
After watching, 1:36 I've been replacing the tips on some of mine. No one advertises that they are adjustable. Thanks again
You are welcome again 😁. Terry
Never knew this! Great tip!
Thanks! Yeah it sure makes life a little easier haha. Thanks for watching!! Terry
What if the tree mulch you got been sitting in the same whole for 6 months
It’s gonna be all incorporated into the dirt. A big mess lol Terry
98% grease gun ends are smooth round and nearly impossible to rotate with fingers. I considered welding 'wings' on the fitting for the tough zerks, when pressure is high. I have not spent the money on Lock n Lube yet.
I have a Lic n Lube but its still in the pack a couple years later lol 😂 Terry
@ForestToFarm I have a plasma torch, a mini-split heat pump, a 6 camera security system, vacuum pump, a diesel heater, and lord knows what else, new in their packaging.. to be attended to... :-)
69 years of incompetence exposed here 😫………was it always like this ? 😂
Haha 🤣 crazy to think about all the people in the same boat as us. I have a grease gun from when I was a kid and it works that way and I am almost 62. Thanks for watching and commenting and the honesty! Terry
