Welcome to KATERNO FOOD Channel!
SMASH BURGER is a thin burger cooked on a grilling plate. It is a juicy burger with crispy brown edges which are developed during the quick and fast grilling process. The lean ground beef was seasoned with only salt and freshly ground black peppers but it is very delicious and flavorful.
We cooked these burgers outdoors so we can used high heat. There is fun and excitement to prepare the SMASH BURGER. You can to choose want you want in your burger, the grilling time (rare, medium rare, or well done), the number of patties and more. It will be nice if your family will give making SMASH BURGERS a try. This experience is very different when you eat or order burgers in the fast-food chains.

Ingredients:
3 ½ lbs lean ground beef, divided into 2 oz. per piece
1 stick butter
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
8-12 pcs. hamburger buns
Optional Add-Ons:
3 large onions, thinly sliced
Sliced Mozzarella or Cheddar cheese
Bacon slices
Mushroom slices
Lettuce torn in pieces
Cucumber, sliced
Tomatoes, sliced

Hello abc….I guess you misjudged the OKOY. If ever you will have the chance, just eat a small portion and you will have an experience of a lifetime. BTW, don't forget to dip it in a garlicky vinegar. Or if you will make it yourself, after frying, store it upright on a cooking rack. This way the oil will drip fast while keeping the OKOY still VERY CRISPY. There will always be a way. You are welcome! Thank you too for your feedback about the dish. I am glad you saw that I used less amount of cooking oil, thus, less fat. "Fritada-ing" or (pan) frying the marinated chicken have rendered its fat. And this was used to sauté the other ingredients, making the dish so flavourful and delicious! Hello Idolo, Salamat sa comment. Walang toyo talaga. Pero sa 1:12 ng video, ipina-kita kung paano tinatanggal ang ink sac ng pusit. Sine-save ang tinta para sa huli i-sasama. Ito ang nagbibigay ng black color at linamnam (sarap) ng pusit. In addition, tinatawag natin”Adobong Mani” pero wala namang toyo, asin at bawang lang. Take care.

Bakit po mukhang sunog sunog mapaoven o deep dried sya?
Hello Liria, sa deep fry isa o dalawa ang nagkaroon ng burnt marks (strips lang) the rest are OK. Hindi namang sunog na sunog. Sa umpisa ng frying pwedeng mangyari ito. Kaya dapat mindful tayo. Perfect ang pag bake sa oven. Siguro yung napansin mo yung sa air fried (May air fryer feature ang oven ko). Toasted ang kinalabasa pero hindi naman sunog na sunog. Salamat sa comments mo. Hope you will give the recipe a try. You can choose the way you can cook the flaky chicken empanada. Pili ka sa tatlong paraan(1) kung fry mo sa pan; (2)bake o (3) kaya air fry mo. Sa akin OK lahat. Yung flaky texture at sarap very evident. Take care. :)

Hi Jef, Pwedeng-pwede i-business, Jef. Marami tayong favorite ang na dish ito! Follow mo lang recipe at technique kung paano maging matagal ang pagiging crispy ng lumpiang shanghai. Share ko sa iyo ang pwedeng sawsawan: equal amount ng ketchup, sugar, vinegar, at water. Mix lang. Tapos i-cook mo na. Pag nag boil na.add mo ang slurry mixture. Ito ay 1T cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 C water. Patok ito. God bless.
