Thai Longtail Drag Boat Racing: The Thrill of Khlong Ta Kham
🚤🔥 Buckle up, fellow adrenaline seekers! In our latest adventure, Chris @Walk4r and I dove headfirst into the heart-pounding world of Thai Longtail Drag Boat Racing on Khlong Ta Kham in Samut Sakhon Province, Thailand 🇹🇭 🎥
Picture this: sun-kissed shores, boats lined up like chromatic warriors, and engines that growl like ancient beasts. Wade right in into the action-from the Start Line to Pit Row to the Finish Line. Get up close in Pit Row and witness the action of the racing crews and mechanics, their hands deft and determined, adjusted propellers and exchanging hushed secrets with these aquatic speed demons.
And then, the countdown-those magic words: "Start your engines!" (เปิดเครื่อง). The collective heartbeat of the crowd merged with the river's rhythm as the boats shot forward. Spray kissed our faces, cheers erupted, and the engines? Oh, they roared. It was the kind of roar that rattles your ribcage and syncs your pulse with the pulse of the water. Most of these boats here are propelled by ingeniously modified Toyota 5K engines🔧.
Chris and I captured it all-the spray in the air, the camaraderie among fans, and the raw, unbridled energy of the race. Remember our Thai Turbo Longtail Speedboat escapade earlier? Well, this was our reunion tour, and it didn't disappoint. We embraced the adrenaline, high-fived tradition, and reveled in the vibrant spirit of Thailand 🇹🇭 🌊🔊.

@@Bjarni567 there's at least a thousand or more shops in there. Sorry, I don't know of any shops that have websites. I did see a vehicle made of mixed parts that had some Range Rover parts (it's in my video). But that's about the extent of it from what I saw.
