Waterberg Rhino UK
Registrace 24. 07. 2022
Waterberg Rhino UK (charity no 1187429) was set up in January 2020 by 5 trustees, each with personal links to the Waterberg, having worked, visited or had businesses in the area for many years.
This led to a realisation of the need of support and the desire of the many visitors to the region to want to give back. To facilitate this, we set up and registered a charity in the UK under Charity Commission regulations.
The aim of Waterberg Rhino UK (WRUK) is to raise funds and awareness to help protect the rhino population of the Waterberg, including the protection of other species of wildlife and habitat that are part of the overall environment.
By working alongside established NPOs and PBOs in the Waterberg, we are able to bring support and funding to the community through education and social upliftment projects.

The story of one baby rhino - Part 2
Over a year old, baby rhino, Tyson has enjoyed the companionship of his human mother Leanne Huber, her husband, Paul, the children, their family dog and, as he grew bigger, a plucky ram.
However, given that the aim is to rewild Tyson back on the reserve at Ant Africa Safaris, the challenge was to find a rhino of a similar age with whom he could form a bond, to learn how to socialise and live with his own kind.
In this second episode of this inspirational story, find out how Tyson is going to take his next step to crossing the horizon and be closer to the ultimate goal of being released into the wild!
If you would like to be part of Tyson's ongoing care - any donation would be hugely appreciated. Click here: www.justgiving.com/campaign/b...

😍😍Amazing story. Tyson grows up to be a handsome boy. Good job!
Huge thanks to everyone at Waterberg Rhino for saving Tysons life and raising him to adulthood so that one day be released back into the wild. This is a inspirational story of hope to save these magnificent animals. Tyson still needs your help to feed him and pay to look after him. Please help Tyson and the dedicated staff at Waterberg by donating any amount large or small to continue to help feed Tyson. The Battle to save the Rhino from poachers is happening now! Rhinos are killed almost every day. So please join in the fight to protect and save these wonderful animals. Thank you.
GO GET EM BOYS!!!!! ❤
You guys do an unbelievable job!!🙏 Thank you .
Thank you all so much for your sacrifice and love for the wildlife
Boy I hate the people who harm rhinos!
Well done Paul and Leanne. You are awesome people. Such a huge responsibility
Thank you Leanne, Paul and everyone involved for all your effort, dedication and love to care for and support this young baby rhino. Tyson is such a beautiful and amazing animal and we must continue to fight to the stop poaching of this iconic animal before its too late. If we cannot save rhinos, then the human race should hang its head in shame and then surely it will be next to become extinct. The battle to Save the Rhinos continues. Please help support the people fighting for rhinos on the ground, in the front line of conservation and adopt or donate anything you can to help the rhinos, and help secure a safe future for them.

A great cause and a great presentation, well done!
Awesome !
Hope you can make it one day!
Great Job 💕
It saddens me to see just 79 likes after 2,117 views 😞 How could you watch this and not be bothered to at least click the thumbs up (I believe it helps with the algorithm) Apathy in all areas of life is what's killing this beautiful species along with the others. A change IS coming and It's long overdue! Thank you to all involved, esp those risking their live protecting the Rhino's 👏 What do you think of removing the horns as a deterrent? or is it damaging to the Rhino?
Thank you for your support. Many reserves do remove the horn which can regrow However rhinos do need their horn for several behavioural reasons, for defending themselves and their young and for foraging
@@waterbergrhinouk TY👍It's tragic we even have to consider such drastic measures 🥹 Thank you for all you ppl do in their behalf 👏👏
Incredible how people are still brutally killing these wonderful animals!! There are zero medicinal benefits within the rhinoceros horn, and the cave men and women who think there is are the same pricks that think shark fin soup has medicinal properties too!! Human beings a very overrated strategically shaved primate!!!
I came here from the Mark Knopfler's page! 😉
Thank you
The policy always should be of: "Live and let all others live."
So disgusting and Ridiculous that the Rhino Horn is so valuable by too many people....this doesn't make sense to kill something to extinction if you believe its medicinal!.... The Rangers are incredibly brave and essential to the survival of the species. Fantastic work by all involved and let's hope Rhinos have a safe future 🙏🙏🙏
