    By far the most disturbing company promotional video I've ever seen. What went on in the minds of music choice and visual design?

    the exhaust spins the turbo that spins a shaft connected to a another turbo that sucks the clean oxygenated air into the curberator of the engine!

    These types of videos are dry as hell. Its hard to care when it sounds more like the narrator is delivering such a boring delivery. Also, doesn't have the voice to grab attention.

    I watched the show where Holset had to pay private investigators to find the knockoff companies in China and had to get one of the alphabet agencies to let China give Holset investigators the permission to raid and shut down the knockoff Chinese companies.

    the air from exhaust which rotates the turbine, is it released from the cylencer .??

    • @mayanksaini8342
      @mayanksaini8342 Před 7 lety

      yeah the exhaust gas energy is used to rotate the turbine and hence the compressor draws air from atmosphere, pressurize it and give it to charge air cooler, for cooling and finally to the scavenge manifold.

    if that turbo exploded while being used on a bus, the bus would surely already be do the speed of sound to get the turbo spinning that fast!! unless it was in neutral but then who would be near an engine revving that hard?!?

    how is a turbo a parasitic loss the turbo is using used power to make power not you already have the exhaust coming out at pressure so why not use it to make more power does cost anything to make that power

  • @DavitMartin
    @DavitMartin Před 12 lety

    lol, wtf this guy is talking about. simpley the turbo kicks the air into slender, so slender don't have to suck to get air in,

  • @mic2876uk1
    @mic2876uk1 Před 12 lety

    Not really possible, as companies such as Cummins Turbo Technologies fully test and develop their turbochargers to ensure there durability and safety in operation these things cost money. Counterfeiters do not care about any of these things, nor do they have to develop and design the turbocharger as they simply copy using sub-standard materials and tollerences

  • @mic2876uk1
    @mic2876uk1 Před 12 lety

    a turbo for a bus should never reach them speeds in operation, unless its a really small engined bus say, less than 4.0L. But even so its not hard to reach high turbo speeds in normal use

    The oxygen doesn't become "thinner" at higher elevation. There is still the same percentage of oxygen but it the partial pressure of the oxygen in the air...so.......HOW NEAT IS THAT?!
