Let’s take a look at the Monogram Dodge Viper RT/10.
My next project, the Monogram Dodge Viper RT/10. This is an Ollie's $12.99 special from last year, and even though it has a lower parts count it looks like a pretty fun kit to build. It looks like it will be a fairly quick build, so I'll probably only have one progress update video. Thanks for watching, and I hope you enjoy the unboxing as it looks like a pretty decent kit.

Beautiful paint and flames!! Just subscribed. I was wondering what you mixed for the Tamiya silver paint , you said 1:1 ratio and a home brew recipe, I’m new to airbrushing. Thanks.
Thanks! It's just equal parts paint and thinner, say 10 ml of each. The thinner I use is 3 parts distilled water, 1 part 91% isopropyl alcohol, and 4-5 drops of glycerin as a flow improver per 8 ounce batch. I have a craft paint tutorial that uses this recipe if you're interested. Thanks for the sub!

Thanks! The kit does come with louvered side panels, it just would have been a nightmare securing the flame masks over them, lol. No shows on the horizon for me yet.

Looks awesome! I'm actually building the same kit, painting it orange, no flame, 2-tone tan interior Also, the 32 Ford Tudor, in British Green, tan interior 2-tone, flathead with the kit wire wheels. Thanks for sharing! 👍

Really like you're process for making a vinyl top versus the tape process I've some builders use. You're bare metal foil really brought the finish together!!!!!

I have to pick your brain and ask why you felt the need to paint the tires. I've never heard of that (other than of course painting letters or whitewalls on tires). It's an interesting difference, I'd like to hear your story.
They are 3D printed tires, so I had to clean and paint them as they were printed in gray.
@@StumpyGrumpsScaleSpeedShop Ahhhh, now it makes perfect sense! In this video, they looked like rubber or vinyl that you painted over. I guess that maked my comment sort of a backhanded compliment on the good job you did with them.

Quick question, what is the difference between the 4053 and the 4050? I'm working on a kit now and plan to clear it with the 4050 UVLS Clear. Your kit is looking great! Love the flames.
There's really not much of a difference. The 4053 shines a bit more as it cures and ends up with a bit better gloss.

Love it Craig very nice work as always. I've done a 32' 29' 40' and a 37' panel this year I'd rather build hot rods than muscle cars. But work them in also. Great job!!!!
