Ok, now that I've finished rewatching all of Armada, wow... my memory was very wrong, or rather it left out a lot. I still adore Armada, and I still think it's one of the top three TF series' but I have a different view of Megatron specifically in this series. He's a very one dimensional typically evil and abusive father figure until the VERY END where we get that scene with Optimus I showed in this video, and then something I never expected happens. Megatron allows himself to die because he understands with his death, there will no longer be enough hate alive to fuel Unicron. That single moment along with his mourning of Starscream made for a BEAUTIFUL turn around of an otherwise awful character. I think if the scripts had been better translated from Japanese, he would have been a mind blowing character.

I like her burst animation more but mostly the same.

While I absolutely understand the hate for AI art and hate it vividly myself, especially as someone who enjoys drawing, I don't really see an issue with AI voices in the slightest. At least in use like this. It's a minute long meme it didn't hurt anyone, and Frank Welker and Steve Blum aren't exactly people I can just ask to voice act for a stupid minute long meme. That'd cost me thousands of dollars I don't have. The only problem I see with AI voice is the potential of deep fake being used for framing criminal activity upon others, but this is a voice filter you can CLEARLY tell is AI and, I don't see an issue with it. If there is something I do not know about AI voices or AI voice filters please inform me about why they are bad because I actively do not wish to harm communities, but I don't see an issue when using a crappy filter like this one.

After sending this I went and spoke with a friend of mine, who is friends with voice actors, and I get it now. Moving forward I wont use AI voices in anything I make. Granted I think in this specific example it was still fine, but I can understand how it could really hurt younger va's. My apologies.

@@SmogMon015 It’s not the harm that was done, it’s the harm that could be done. And not just that, it’s the right to one’s own likeness and voice. Several people, especially professional voice actors, are uncomfortable with their voices no longer belonging to them because of AI, and I think that’s perfectly valid, so unless a person has explicitly stated they are comfortable with their voice being used by AI, I think it’s only fair to assume they’re not. Because it’s not about the harm, it’s about the ownership of one’s own voice. Also, you wouldn’t have to hire Frank Welker or Steve Blum, you could just find some impressionists or get your friends to do it. Look at Unclubbable, none of his videos use AI, they’re all just impressions done by him and his friends. They aren’t perfect but that’s part of the charm. AI has no charm. You see what I mean?

@@gummygrenade That does make sense, I just have a personal hatred for my voice and don't really have friends to help me with something like this so, the option didn't cross my mind. I also absolutely agree with the ownership of the voice part, which is exactly why I will stop supporting AI voicing.
