Y'all are so mean the guy singing is prolly RIGHT next to the phone recording, and this clearly wasn't an exclusive concert of his, sounds like he's performing at a bar. Rough way to the top for artists like colter! Just be glad we have recordings of stuff we weren't there for.

Also a metal head, I think country and metal have a lot of similarities. Both have darker themes in the lyrics.

what tuning is this? cant be standard?

It looks like it's down tuned one step. Standard tuning would have no capo. I think he does this to get an easier reach for the notes for certain songs he plays.

It is mostly one step down and a capo in the second fret. So it is standard again. He plays it like that because he wants to be in a comftorbel position with his fingers. So the fret there is thicker.
