Some are on the point, but some of her findings are completely wrong and misguiding .. i would say 50 : 50, right : wrong. About love jihad issue, This women is mis directed. I can vouch on this point. Love jihad, sending to fight for Isis is a Horrendous truth (quick google search about syrian Christian girls from Kerala like.. Sonia Sebastian or Merin Joseph - who are in afghan jail currently would reveal how mis informed she is!! or is she got paid to say this, not sure) Also is Missing Girls who are never found again.... plus Countless Suicides of girls who had arabic scripts tattooed in their private parts.... all point towards a secret, planned act by religious fanatics and it is called Love Jihad!

      Why isnt that the case of Hindus? She was saying we have a bias.. we are predisposed to believe the harm coming from muslims more ... We have a problem with certain groups.. she points out facts that these are the belief systems, and it's been used for political gains as well.. the more reasons you give for disliking a group.. the more reason to vote the system in through their political alliance.. you get the picture..

    • @mr_kev
      @mr_kev Před 2 dny

      Also.. act of certain folks can't be attributed to the entire group.. love jihad doesn't make the entirety of the religion..... if that's alright to say then by that logic saying "our ancestors being slave owners" is the same as "we used to be slave owners" 😅😅 it's a very thin line my friend..

    My grandparents did discussed the happy times in Rawalpindi. Some would not talk about the sadness and horrors of leaving their homes. The family never did settle financially, only the third generation has struggled and are better off. The family travelled to India in the train with women wearing burkas. No life was lost though, but they lost their affluence. They settled in Dehradun as it was quite like Rawalpindi weather wise. The world talks about the Holocaust but not the pain of partition.

    I have heard the whole interview and I can say that she sounds very Amateuristic and very apologetic. If you read her Twitter bio she says she is "Anti Fascist", and that tells you everything you need to know about her political leanings and its clear that has seaped into her formal work. Everyone wants to help the little guy, so we have had a wave of Muslim apologists post 9/11, doing all sorts of gas lighting to show the best foot forward for Islam instead of telling us the Truth. From this interview itself one can tell her agenda. The very odd justification of the Jizya. Alamgir ruled for 50 years and there is no mention of his evolution as a person, just a few accendots to drive home the point. No reference to his official biography, no reference to Kashi Vishwanath, I wonder if she read the official biography (as she claims to read Persian). At the end of the podcast, she wants to diamante Hindutva apparently. Perhaps she doesn't feel like Hindus are not cohesive enough to deserve a political identity. I wish the Hindu right would give some more indepth rebuttals to her work if they think she is a crook. Anyway good podcast if we assume she is an undergrad.

As sikhs its incredibly offensive when you give legitimacy to religious tyrants like Aurangzeb who beheaded our 9th guru for refusing to convert to islam and did the same to countless sikhs, hindus and other religious minorities. This is a historical fact. You can sugarcoat it as much as you like and protray Aurangzeb in some light but you wouldn't see her do the same for hitler. Sikhs were nearly totally exterminated by Aurangzeb and the evil rulers after him. Sikh history is proof of this.

      @@syedahmed8650 hello Dr. Bright, you should read the shit she has written on Hindu epics like Ramayana, Mahabharata, Hindu Gods like Lord Ram before you put posers before me. it's all a google search away. I am not here to spoon-feed you. Regarding Aurangzeb, I will indeed give you primary sources which amply make it clear what a bigoted rascal he was. One example: Destruction of Kalkaji temple (Delhi) by Aurangzeb: Siyah Waqa’i-Darbar, Regnal Year 10, Rabi I, 23 / 3 September 1667. “The asylum of Shariat (Shariat Panah) Qazi Abul Mukaram has sent this arzi to the sublime Court: a man known to him told him that the Hindus gather in large numbers at Kalka Temple near Barahapule (near Delhi); a large crowd of the Hindus is seen here. Likewise, large crowds are seen at (the mazars) of Khwaja Muinuddin, Shah Madar and Salar Masud Ghazi. This amounts to bid‘at (heresy) and this matter deserves consideration. Whatever orders are required should be issued. Saiyid Faulad Khan was thereupon ordered (by the Emperor) to send one hundred beldars to demolish the Kalka Temple and other structures in its neighbourhood which were in the Faujdari of the Khan himself; these men were to reach there post haste, and finish the work without a halt.” If you want more of such references refer to the Akhbarat chronicles maintained by Mustad Khan. the translated version of the persian chronicles of his time (Maasir e Alamgiri) is freely available online. Read more in order to get rid of your prejudices. Don't just rely on goras & goris just bcz they are feeding your ego.

    • @vijnanabandhu2167

      Here's *some* more: Aurangzeb's order restricting the gathering of Hindus and Muslims at the shrines of Shitla Devi, Pir Pabuji, and some other shrines : "For different reasons, and also out of apprehension, people visit in large numbers (the mazars or shrines of) Shah Madar, Khwaja Muin ud din, Salar, SArur Sultan and Pir Ganun (Pir Pabu?) etc.. They go for ziyarat and perform tawaf which are bid'at . Orders were issued to stop these practices. Also the Hindus, and quite often, the Musalmans also, flock at the shrines of Devi for worship and that of Pir Pabu. The Emperor ordered that these should be stopped. It was also ordered that the Hindus must not crowd at these places, and worship of Shitla, wherever it is performed should be at a distance (from the habitation)." - Siyaha Waqai Darbar Julus (regnal year) 10, Rabi II 17/26 September 1667 The Dehra of Keshava Rai was demolished in the month of Ramzan, 1080 A.H. (13th January - 11th February 1670) by Aurangzeb’s order. “In a short time, by the great exertion of the officers, the destruction of this strong foundation of infidelity was accomplished and on its site a lofty mosque was built at the expenditure of a large sum.” To the author of Maasir-i-‘Alamigiri, the accomplishment of this “seemingly impossible work was an “instance of the strength of the Emperor’s faith.” 9th April 1669 “The Lord cherisher of the Faith learnt that in the provinces of Thatta, Multan and especially at Benaras, the Brahmin misbelievers used to teach their false books in their established schools, and their admirers and students, both Hindu and Muslim, used to come from great Distances to these misguided men in order to acquire their vile learning. His Majesty, eager to establish Islam, issued order to the governors of all provinces to demolish the schools and Temples of the infidels, and, with the utmost urgency, put down the teaching and the public practice of the religion of these unbelievers.” - Maasir e Alamgiri, pg 81. Jadunath Sarkar Demolition of the Kashi Vishvanath Temple, August 1669 It was reported that, “according to the Emperor’s command, his officers had demolished the Temple of Vishwanath at Kashi.” Maasir E Alamgiri, pg. 88 Siyaha Akhbarat-i-Darbar-i-Mu’alla Julus (rg.yr.) 28 Jamadi I, 12/7 April 1685 “The Emperor ordered Jamadat-ul-Mulk to send hasbu‘l-hukum to all the Faujdars and the Diwans of the provinces of the Empire that Rs. 4/- for each Hindu male and Rs. 2/- for each Hindu female are being fixed (by him) to be given by way of inam to them for accepting Islam; this amount should be paid from the treasury of the place (to avoid delay). Those who accept the Muhammedan faith are to be paid accordingly in future.” there are literally dozens of such references in the sources written by Islamic chroniclers who were Aurangzeb's contemporaries, that only a pathological liar or a total dumbass would call him tolerant. Oh btw, even foreign travellers have left corroborating accounts of the barbarities committed by Truschke's historical muse.
