I think the discussion is interesting, informative and necessary. I also think videos like this will be weaponized against DEI in the video gaming space. I know people who think Sweet Baby Inc. is actively forcing diversity and queer and trans narratives into "triple A" titles-people who will see this video as a gathering of "those people" who ruin everything everyone else likes. On a personal level I understand how important it is to have diverse characters tell us new stories that are as at least as compelling as the gameplay itself. I'm also aware it's not your duty or job to preface everything you say to assuage the unfounded fears if a group of consumers, but that particular group of consumers is being actively proselytized to by grifters and "status quo-tists". They view a lot of these details in video games as intrusive, and part of some grand conspiracy to pollute their minds with anything outside heteronormative societal tastes. I understand this video is more of a discussion of experiences and overcoming challenges in the industry, and it succeeds in that regard. There's a lot of specific stories in this discussion that have real nuance that can help bridge that gap, but I feel like an intro section that described the purpose and goal of the video from a macro to micro perspective touching on the industries' role at the executive levels and how these people's work fit into that larger product would be insightful.

I’ve always loved this game since childhood and I still have the pleasure of playing it today on my old 360. It would be such a dream to have this game ported to newer consoles and update the roster with characters such as opa opa, Billy Hatcher, other sonic characters like knuckles and silver, omega, Jacky or akira, etc. I felt like the characters from sega all stars racing would fit perfectly in this game so pleeeeaaase if this studio revisits this game please expand the roster and campaign! That would be so awesome to relive this amazing nostalgia trip with even more to enjoy

Please just make 10 more of these. Don't update textures no one cares. Just make more levels/characters and leave everything else alone. Transformed 2, 3, 4....etc. This racer is by far better than everything but Burnout Paradise. Don't fix things that aren't broken. This game is in it's own league. It's faster and more intense than any cart racer so it can't even be compared to Mario/Crash etc. This game needs to never stop being updated. You guys must know this right? Did it not sell? Why don't we have more? Let's go already.

One of the absolute best kart racing games I've ever played and such a fantastic love letter to Sega of old. I loved so much seeing the inclusion of tracks and characters based on Outrun, Afterburner, Daytona USA, Golden Axe, Shinobi, House of the Dead, Panzer Dragoon, Crazy Taxi and Alex Kidd. I must admit, it was a big disappointment when all the old skool Sega IPs got dropped from Team Sonic Racing after Transformed. I'd *LOVE* to see Sumo do a new Transformed game with all the Sega All Star stuff again (would love an actual Sonic Transformed Daytona USA course). Please, please, please can you make this happen Steve?

Outrun 2 (inc. Coast 2 Coast and Outrun Online Arcade) is one of my favourite games of all time - easily in my top 5 ever. Steve L and the gang at Sumo did such an incredible job of converting it (and really enjoyed the recent Retro Gamer Magazine article and Sumo interviews all about it). I've made hours of videos extolling the virtues of all the different versions of it. I'd still love to see an Outrun 3 someday, with or without the Ferrari license.

I used to have so much fun playing this game for hours on end back on the Wii. It would be awesome if they decide to port this game to the Switch and all the other current gen consoles someday.

Hi I really enjoyed lecture, one part that interests me, but I have little to no resources on is the value clamping inside of a packed map and being able to isolate specific gray values. I was wondering if you guys could share any resources that may help me in my endeavors, I've been poking around a few different forms and a lot of my solutions full short of anything useful. Any help you guys could provide would be awesome and appreciated.

Still playing this game alot on series x, with my 6 year old son through backwards compatibilty. It’s 1000x better than the latest sonic racing. Love to see a new one
