I like the new animation but I actually miss the pilot animation quality too. There are parts where it’s scuffed but even more in my opinion that are really well done and have so much personality.

He sounds like he’s from an actual show in the 1960s in the pilot but in the show it’s just a Snapchat filter

Headcanon: Pilot Alastor is what he was like before his 7 Year absence. When he showed up at the hotel he reverted to his old persona to try to hide the fact that he had changed/made the deal. Once he got more settled in he stopped with the persona.
