I noticed that after Chloe is shot in the Chloe ending that Nathan starts panicking and shakes her body twice as if he's trying to wake her up. I don't think Nathan meant to kill her at all. It makes the scene that much more sad.

I would have guessed you were going to be optimistic rather than cautious but I guess this is a situation where caution is very justifiably the path to go. Ninety-one-one? What’s the joke? That he said it wrong? I looked it up and yes 911 is also the emergency number in Canada, so it’s good that you were also able to get it. Yes, it is a good idea NOT to be specific or they think it is a teen or twenty-something crank calling the cops! If you ever find yourself in this situation, just be as vague as possible and say some crazy guy is trying to kill you and you and he’s armed and dangerous so they will send more than one cop. NEVER mention monsters. Yeah both of those choices after we’re bad but ‘suspicious’ was the lesser of two evils. I had a feeling the phone wasn’t going to work. Wow you wanting to give Kaitlyn the shotgun and a few moments later it was suggested was amazing intuition! But then even though you made the decision to give it to her, it was not given to her which was a bit weird. I thought there was something wrong with the video when it was muted but it was copyrighted music so it’s not your fault. It looks like Emma was in a lot of danger again and I’m so glad your quick thinking saved her (again)! I know she had some low points as a person, but I am just rooting for her so much to have a great character arc and grow into such a good person! And she has to be alive in order to do so. The magician was a good choice. But you may have ended up regretting it a bit. What the fortune teller said about how you should remember who your friends are and remember who’s looking out for you… now that is grade A advice for this game and for IRL.

I love that you did the next chapter of this series! Man that part where they were gonna amputate Nick’s leg was unsettling. You have a real knack for sniffing out red herrings. Like knowing that sound in the woods was a misdirect. When those two were fighting over the shotgun did they break it or something? Who was that mysterious guy who definitely was not Jacob? Hey cool you found another tarot card. I wonder if there is only one per chapter? I’ve known girls like Emma before and definitely the way she treats Jacob and her overall attitude is pretty toxic and I’d love to see a softer side from her. I want to like her. I’d still feel awful if anything happens to her. That was a tough choice whether to choose to look in the bag or look in the trapdoor because what if the game subverts your expectations and the trapdoor was the safe choice? Those awful creatures seem to spread a disease or infection if they bite you even if you survive. I’m so glad you got Emma away safely. I know that the characters can all or mostly all die in this game.

Oh man those scary voices Abi heard at the beginning were really bone chilling. You like that movie Predator? That’s a great movie. I’ve actually just watched it for the first time a month or so ago and I’ve since watched all Predator and Alien movies (and Alien vs. Predators). None of the Predator films come close to Arnold’s original. Everyone remembers “Get to dee choppppeah!” the most, but even more I love when the alien unmasks himself and Arnold says “You are one ugly m--- f---!” The predators actually all hunt and fight humans with honor. They will not use projectile weapons against unarmed opponents. The will use only blades against an opponent with blades, or fisticuffs with a worthy adversary with no weapon at all (not that even Arnold or any human has near the strength to beat one in hand-to-hand combat without traps or trickery). Somehow I doubt the creatures in this game will be so honorable. What was that creature? It was not something you’d ever want to see in the middle of the night. Or ever. I understand why he was crying on the pier because kissing someone else is CHEATING! Ten minutes of walking around to find towels doesn’t sound too quality of life for such a modern game lol. “Not the good kind of scream!” imagine making a sex joke during a time like that wow. I cannot. To be fair about him leaving her in the water alone, to be fair he heard a scream from another direction and had no idea any dangerous creature was in the water. I fail to see any difference in that one dialogue choice that might have occurred if “What happened?” or “Where’s Nick?” had been chosen. Oh man was that crazy strong man immune to bullets somehow or did you just miss? Very creepy and morally ambiguous character! I love how even though you get so scared by horror games you’re so excited to see what happens next. Fear and excitement are very closely related. With practice it is easy to flip fear into excitement.

I just want to say 2 things: 1. I LOVE that even though CZcams removed all your views from your past 2 vids from your play-through of The Quarry, YOU ARE STILL UPLOADING. That takes a lot to do but it shows that you’re not going to let that stop you. Secondly: You are amazing at this game and it makes sense that the first game you played wasn’t too good. You haven’t played since you started playing Overwatch but you still got a really good place in the end. To conclude: You are a JOY to watch and an inspiration of hope for many of us. We love you and wish you all the best.

You found no tarot cards the last time but I have faith you will this time. They shouldn’t be able to copyright claim if it’s music in a video game and you are doing a LP. You circled all around that outbuilding and found no tarot cards! OMG WHERE are the tarot cards? That’s a good point about an expiration date on those snacks! The story about mimics was really scary! Most people I’m sure feel like they may have heard things like that at some point in their lives. That was creepy AF when they found that monitoring room! That looking for Bigfoot was presented as a plausible explanation is wild imo. In the part where two roads diverged in the wood, I would’ve picked Rocky Road as well. I was so happy when you finally found a tarot card!The boar part was intense and scary but the little boarlet was so cute! Loved part 1 of chapter 2 and I will watch part 2 of chapter 2 tomorrow!

I can tell I’ll love this game and it looks amazing. I saw that ghoul after the car crash and it also caught me off guard and made me jump! I barely saw it because of the distraction of them just crashing and I think that made it scarier. In fact, the more you see of a monster the less scary it tends to become. Having no bars for a cell phone because you’re in the middle of nowhere is a great workaround for something older horror movies from the 1980s and before then literally didn’t have to worry about or think about at all. Feeling like you’re being watched by something you can’t see is really extremely scary. You didn’t want to see that creepy ghoul ghost unalived person. That’s a very descriptive and thoroughly astute way of putting it. But we’re so terrified. So when you’re nervous you tend to use more words than are necessary. While the cop was creepy, usually if it is too obvious within any horror media that something really seems off about a mysterious character, they subvert your expectations by that character NOT being a bad guy. So they double-subverted my expectations by actually making him be one. I notice you tend to always choose the friendlier and less confrontational choices because that’s the kind of person you are and when given the choice between two options, your choice is significantly more likely to reflect that. I’m really glad you didn’t miss the high five ✋ because that would’ve just been awkward. That’s cool one of those girls in the second story was a CZcamsr too. It was your first time playing as character who was a fellow CZcamsr! I agree with you that portable chargers such as charging cube is something characters in these stories conveniently don’t have in stories such as these. Those women were not too positively receptive to that guy’s proposed chivalry in carrying their bags. Sometimes you can try to be friendly but the character will be rude and childish anyway. “You look and smell like a butt” is not what I’d expect to flow from a friendly response. I would have been inquisitive because I would have wanted at least some understanding of what is going on. Chris wanted us out before the sunset and that would unsettle me too. Wow they really went against his advice in the biggest possible way! Oh man was someone spying on them through a rifle scope? Wonderful Chapter 1 video! To fortune teller lady sure was creepy! Can’t wait for the next chapter! And look out for those tarot cards!

This has been rumored for so long it’s finally real now

The moral conundrum of choosing to save Ellie isn't as difficult as the game or TV show implies. The problem is, most people don't think about the ramifications of the "cure" for more than five seconds. If they did, they would realize it wouldn't save humanity. They keep calling it a "cure" but there is no cure to the fundamental conditions this long after the outbreak. There's only a potential vaccine / medication. The damage of the Cordyceps infection is already done. 99% of humanity is gone, civilization is wrecked and the world is full of monsters. A vaccine or medication replicating Ellie's immunity would do nothing to bring that 99% of humanity back or destroy the monsters. All it would do is make surviving humans immune to future infection, if you could coordinate the resources and infrastructure to give it to everyone and keep supplying it (doubtful.) Even if you could do that, it would make the world maybe 5-10% better. It certainly wouldn't bring back modern civilization. It wouldn't stop clickers from ripping peoples necks out and bloaters from twisting their head 180 degrees. It wouldn't stop the remaining enclaves of humanity fighting each other for the dwindling, limited resources. And for this poorly thought out, haphazard plan that has little chance of significantly improving the world, Marlene is willing to strip away Ellie's agency and kill her. The Fireflies really didn't think this through. Conclusion: Joel's intuition was 100% correct and his actions were justified. His only mistake was lying to Ellie after the fact, out of fear of losing her.

There’s no itch worse than an unitchable itch that you’re unable to itch but we are finally scratching the finale. Ah, the famous giraffe scene. So memorable and sentimental. I remember being so completely blown away by these graphics in 2013 and wondering how much better video-game graphics could possibly get. And really, as it turned out, they haven’t by much! Not one-tenth the same graphical leap that was made from the late ‘90s up until that point. Not a single tenth. When Joel told Ellie he wasn’t leaving without her, boy was he ever not kidding! Yes every time there is a tunnel like that there will be runners, stalkers, clickers, bloaters. And that tunnel was the motherload. I love how Joel improvised and made a bridge out of the ladder that broke off the wall. Joel’s always figuring something out. “What if it doesn’t work?” You’ve just stumbled on one of the great questions and debates surrounding this game for over a decade now. Were the Fireflies guaranteed to make a working vaccine? Or was it largely wishful thinking? Yes, he truly sees her as his daughter since the journey began. You were spot on. I’m glad you loved every single part of the game and story. Spoiler alert, I knew you would. I enjoyed this series indeed it was amazing because you are amazing. You did a great job of editing and I loved watching all of your reactions as you played through the game and all the tearjerking moments. With you not knowing much about Part 2, I’m sure you’ve guessed that the lie Joel told to Ellie at the end of Part I will eventually rebound back on him.
