Is Mike Brecker human?? The way he plays the saxophone is unbelievable.

Two Birds in the Sky having Fun and fly🎵🎶
I used to play a lot of the jazz standards. HARD stuff. If you dont keep up with it, it's easy to forget. Lately, I've been getting back into it. It's coming back. Larry is one of my guitar heroes. Recently, found another great one from the old days which is the hardest guitar music to cover. Jimmy Bruno. That is one of the ones who established jazz standards. Him, Pass, and Martino. I think Larry. I couldn't believe it when i seen Larry play SO WHAT. That's impossible guitar right there!
That first song is so groovy that every time that i watch this video, I still get chills. I love Larry's playing.

I was born 6 years after this performance...but yet i LOVE it
0:10 - Intro 0:35 - Ubez 8:26 - On the Top 17:54 - Ballade Verte 25:43 - Fretless Song 32:39 - Smiles And Chuckles 38:39 - Goodbye Pork Pie Hat 49:21 - Penny Arcade
This must be a unique, one-of recording; I can't identify any of the songs with Shazam, Soundhound or Google. This video might be the only source for this particular live performance. Where did you find it? Did you record it? Regardless... thank you so much for posting it!

bass player .... wow.
great
Thanks for dressing up Larry
How did tey manage to do in 182 ?? in my modern age even a touch- sensitive and hammer-mechanism electric piano was almost for gift.
いい声
Ace!
This probably sounds ridiculous but he uses the guitar with all its possibilities much like Jimi Hendrix. They both coax and wring everything out of their instruments
This live is amazing..
49:19 💗🙏🏼
80"s haircuts 😂
What is the first song? Are there any studio versions?
The first song in this show is "UBEZ = You Be Easy" From the looks of it, it seems like it was only ever played live sadly (unless there is some obscure studio recordiing of it out there just waiting to be found)
This concert at the Blue Note Tokyo is just pure musical delight! Everyone in the band is just so groovy and musical, no excessive riffing, Carlton's guitar playing is so tasteful, imagine being an audience that evening. Great stuff here, even if it's coming from a VHS. Cheers!
Ubez 😂
An incredibly beautiful composition
feeling so good good feeling
I have been there‼️It was awesome 😍Thank you for posting & I am so excited to enjoy it again😆‼️
this is very good--but doesnt match the old brubeck group
Sensei Carlton - always a plesaure to listen to ...
First from "Kid Gloves" album
Anyone can make out what amp Larry is using here? Goes well together with the strat, I think.
I think this was the Dumble Overdrive Special era. If you look closely then you will see two of them backstage.
