Thank-you, you little whipper snapper.... i'm 70 years old... and am a Joe Pass (guitarist) freak... for years, i've played various standards...A-train, Misty, etc... and have worked out good chord melody versions... but ALWAYS play them exactly the same way.... constantly tweeking out each chord change with what i thought would be the coolest... drawing from piano, horn, guitarists... YOUR VIDEO...has put me on a better path, in thinking about being cognizant of scale degrees.... thanks man...

This cat is older than he looks, a time -traveler, or just really knows his >bleep<! The voice volume gets pretty low in places compared to the trumpet, which I guess is no surprise. (Especially compared to the @$^&@ YouTub commercial$)...but the speaking is fine elsewhere...so I guess just take that as a suggestion to be aware that you have a solution you can probably figure out more easily than me guessing at suggestions. (Don't end with a complaint)...awesome stuff here! I'm subscribing for the content...my music teacher in third grade threw chalk and erasers at his students, so I abandoned trumpet. My dad let me sell my pawn shop (only kid in the class with dents & tarnish) horn in the local newspaper & came out $10 ahead (hey, it was almost 60 years ago!).
