@@DA-fx2ip I’ve never really had issues with the old way but I am curious to try this, going from the joystick back to Y or Triangle for an interception seems like it would take more time than just hitting B/O

@@Chillionaire not when you have to cycle through 6 players or when you switch it always goes to the player you dont want to control. This will be better

@@Chillionaire pretty common issue amongst a lot of old school players. More than one way to do things. Enjoy pressing b 9 times while I move the joystick in once and control who I want.

It's definitely interesting to see how that will work if you are using the switch stick right as the pass is being thrown! Hopefully there is a small delay that prevents us from hit sticking the wind lol.

I’m pretty sure I read that when the ball is in the air it defaults to switch stick instead of hit stick, and after the ball is either in the hands of a receiver or defender, or has been touched, hit stick controls will resume.

If they have Ceedee or Herman Moore their passive abilities beat bottleneck . Double or nothing and rac em up and max security.

Because of the inside release of some C routes, if the receiver was off the line to start, that could have led him to win the route easily. We'd have to see the specific play to be sure though!

To our understanding, it won't be the same going from a blitzing player to a coverage player. According to their blog notes, this is a different mechanic. The switch stick is only used for coverage to coverage players.

@@HuddleGG Bro I havent touched Madden in so long but I remember the feature in the game. Also NCAA had it too. I’m almost 30 I was lucky to play through the golden age lol.

Records before matching isn't something we expect to see tbh. It causes way too many people to quit out of the game before it starts because they are afraid of their opponents record.

I haven’t seen any confirmation of of that yet, but based on the way that I’ve heard that developers talk about it. I’m assuming that you could absolutely still press the old button. I could be wrong, but I doubt that they’re going to remove the option to press the old button. either way either way just one of those mechanics that might take a little bit to get used to similar to all the momentum stuff and madden and the passing controls they have

You can still switch players with B/O but that doesn't give you the direct switch that the switch stick is going to give. Typically the B/O button will just switch you to the closer defender to the ball.

Haha! The rivalries of CFB are unmatched for sure!

It was just a clip from a trailer. No one knows how the defense will play in CFB 25 at this point. We won't speak poorly of something without giving it a chance.

The gameplay won't be exactly the same, it never has been between the two. CFB typically plays quicker. But aside from that, you have the option to play with college teams with a lot different playbook options in CFB. CFB isn't for some people though, and that's perfectly fine!

Ultimate Team seems to be the number 1 mode across most sports games you'll find. We don't believe mascot mode will be in the game, but we can't confirm that yet. EA hasn't mentioned anything of it though.
