Hey, just wanted to know if you have tried NDS emulators on this device, I love the design, but honestly if isn't capable to run DS games I'll look for another option.

Mig switch is almost like a scam for piracy lol cant use roms, you have to own the game, its just and extra step to play your own games lol

I have the dumper but no MigSwitch…..honestly I got tired of waiting and modded my OLED and lite. The dumper is cool, you run games directly off it in yuzu for PC or steamdeck

I cant afford one and really miss the unboxing experience and nostalgia of Zelda, can I please have it

Utter nonsense. The rg505 is a great device. I love Android retro games machines. Yes it has less of a console feel about it than Linux devices but I have plenty of them. GameCube and PS2 at this price point is great. Not every title plays but come on be real

so you cant download a rom of the internet load it to sd card and play it on the mig?

4:57 technically you can use a certificate from any game and it will work... BUT the certificate is tied to the game and though Nintendo doesnt ban for this mismatch yet, they could easily ban for it later

The reason why i haven't bought one is exactly two reasons..... Swapping games in the mig switch requires you to eject the game then reinsert to play the desired game and if you have a big library like i do over 30 games, you have to do that very consistently.....if i have to do that i might as well just get the physical copy and insert that instead of wearing down my switch card slot just to get to game 15 in my library....its not feasible....an easy solution is to make a small button on the mig cartridge and press it to cycle through the games, or just create a small menu and you pick and choose the title you wish to play..... The last one is i don't have a hacked switch, so the dumper is an absolute necessity for me and if it's impossible for me to get then its not worth getting since i dont plan on hacking any of my switches any time soon just to be able to extract the roms and certificates i need, i have to have a hacked switch and like i said before i dont plan on hacking my switches any time soon.... This will sadly be a pass for me....

I got my mig switch and the dumper last week from that web page I ordered January 14th.

I got my MIG switch on modded hardware. I was order number 50, so I got it a lot sooner than most people.

I got my mig switch from modded hardware and it took them 2 months to ship it out it is just most likely on bad order but be careful what you buy online

question is, is it truly 99$ when the shipping + tax is 60$. Even if you order it from Aliexpress with free shipping it's 160$. It honestly feels like a dishonest marketing strategy from Retroid, when you can't get the device for 99$ it's not a 99$-device.

🚨 UPDATE 🚨 I finally received the MIG Switch portion of my order. No word on the dumper. Still have not received a response from the shop owner. The package came from “EDGY CLOTHING CO”. My video still stands. A lack of communication despite requesting a refund is unacceptable business practice, but I’m glad to see some people might start receiving what they have paid for. i think i got scammed cause i havent seen the dumbass thing being shipped yet at all and i bought mine on janurary from one of the official resellers and havent seen any updates from that site yet

I ordered from Modded Hardware in December. Just got my MiG Switch today. They stopped responding to my messages and e-mails, but it eventually got sent…for anybody that’s still waiting on your order.

The bezels kill the aesthetic of it.

You can use one certificate from a game you own and have that on every piriated Switch game you download. Put that certificate, and it will play like normal. I have 53 games that have the same certificate and they all play online. Nintendo servers cant tell what game it is

I got a good question. Can't you just use an SD card reader Instead. Plug in port. Go to tin foil. Upload your games. This could be expensive if you bought this thing but I think you should use. A SD card. Reader. Plug and play. Don't need mig witch.

Modded Hardware isn’t a scam. I had the same experience as you. I ordered in January. Never got communication. I finally got my order today May 19. I also thought I got scammed lol

i just recievced my mig switchg from modded hardware ironically today. i put my order in January 3, 2024. I was shocked seeing it in the mail.

I own it and I can't put it down this thing is amazing I also use it with are ps5 and the power of the edge Surpasses my expectation. Great gaming handheld on the go.

The worst part about the whole "reinsert over and over to cycle games" part is that we already have official support for multiple games to boot off the same cart without doing this. Idk how popular it was, but I never hear from people about how unique it was for Pikmin 1+2, a first party title, to have both games be launched off the same cart. Why couldn't MIG do the same?

Hey scattered, I ordered this catridge from modded hardware as well on the day he launched it, i was order 86 and he only got 50-60 dumpers on the first wave, and i JUST got mine monday from him. he doesnt scam but muich rather he just sucks as communication as i tried reaching out to him several times.
