I was indoors with my hand holding the camera outdoors. I heard the momma at my office and went to my front door and held the camera outside, waiting and being as still as possible. With my iPhone 14 Max Pro, I was able to zoom in and capture the cubs frolicking in my front yard about 20 feet away.

I've seen raccoons with distemper, this is not it, either he might have had it and beat it and he's got a little brain damage from it or he's starving to death literally and weak, but I've seen raccoons with distemper and they're completely out of it and they have a blank look in their eyes, you can tell he has sense, I think he beat distemper or he ate something poisonous one time, but he's got just a little bit of brain damage and he's hungry...
