I can see that fire was the boss!! I am glad that no one was hurt. I am also glad that other people were able to move their cars to safety. I am sad for the people who could not save their cars from the fire.
I commend the civilians for trying to help one another but their fire department has a long left to learn about firefighting when the cops have to get involved

First a police officer decides to get out a puny fire extinguisher for a three car fire. Then the fire brigade turn up with a guy with a hose in a bloody tee shirt! No disrespect to these fellas, but fuck me, I'm glad to live in the uk!
Place near here had some sort of a festival. They put straw down on the muddy ground for cars to park on and people to walk on. They were advised not to do it again and did this time with really bad results. The heat from a catalytic converter set the straw on fire, the fire department responded but were quite a ways off. When they arrived it was a containment fire for safety reasons. Some 30 cars were destroyed, damage in the low millions. Never held a festival again and no idea of the outcome insurance-wise or lawsuits filed.
Look at the situation when the fire first started and it was small instead of standing there watching it you could have saved the other two vehicles each side of the fire by putting the far side windows through then releasing the parking brake then push them out of the way. I'm sure that you wouldn't have gotten into trouble by the owners for breaking the windows if you have saved their vehicles from burning up. those vehicles could have been saved if you lot just used your heads quicker.
just to add to people trying to move cars out of the way but did they have to pull that mpv into the side of the micra which then caught fire so basically one car got burned for no reason at all
