Doesn't work at all if you're from America. I don't know how youre consistently clicking on the tile with the trap first of all but even when I do click the tile with the trap and during the herb tar tick i can't instantly place another trap as im picking it up. It just doesn't work no matter where i'm at in the 3 tick cycle. So im going to go ahead and says its patched. However I can herb tar every box
I play with pretty low ping on US East and I just got a few to work. Took me a while to get the timing even after doing 3t4g to 99 mining. If you don't click on the next square as the first trap is getting placed you won't be able to 1 tick the next one. That's where I was going wrong, it is not patched. Hope this helps.

I don't understand using the herb on the swamp tar? My herb disappears and becomes 15 guam tar. I can't just fill my inventory with guam herbs when I'm trying to do mining. How do you keep only using 1 herb and no guam swamp tar pops up? Explain plz I'm so confused
Your timing is off, if you don't do an action within 3 ticks it'll make the tar. Try 3t fishing to learn the timing.
This is 0 tick hunter, it’s a full 3 ticks faster than 3 tick hunter.

I cannot for the life of me get the 1-tick trap chaining to work :/ Haven't even had it work once to tell me that I'm at least doing it right and just getting the timing wrong or some shit, idk what I'm even doing wrong lol :s
Iron Tarkus you're probably not doing the sequence quickly enough, I've never seen someone have issues with doing it too fast
Dookami Yep you're absolutely right - I finally got it down, I was massively underestimating just how quick you gotta be. Done 86-97 hunter using this method now, should have 99 by the weekend, so thanks for the guide :)

It's different to 3-ticking because you only use mortar once and place all traps on that same animation. It's a lot faster than 3-tick

correct. you overlap the cycles of laying the first trip and running to the second one, which you maintain by perpetually running to the next trap on the same tick you lay each trap

I understand it and I can do it but every time I go to pick up a trap it doesn't matter what tick i click i can't auto place a trap after picking one up. Was there a patch or something to fix 1t hunter or something? What ping would you recommend? I currently get about 70 at my best.
Tracy Mendiola try doing it faster, at first i kept underestimating how quickly you had to queue the actions, 70 ping is fine, iirc this video was on 200 ping
I just started learning this, and am having the same problem too, but to do it, as soon as you click the trap in your inventory you have to click to move to your next trap. its gotta be really fast

why does it matter where you stand as long as you're within the 3x3 area and not on a trap? it shouldn't matter if the trap is warming up or not because it will take 1 tick to get on top of a trap no matter where u stand within a 3x3 radius
Ginger Horse it's a good habit to get into because after you set up a particular side, the opposite side will be ready before the more recent traps, so you will already be adjacent to the traps most likely to catch the next chin
