Ive looked at the video a few times curious if your template shows exactly where to do name and mascot placement. If not is that something you can assist with/ upgrade the template with? Also interested in a template for 2" and 1.5" for those of us that make the cheer keychains and bows for smaller girls 😊

I am not able to find the "convert to shape" option on powerpoint, on right click or on ribbon! What am i missing?
Is your picture an svg? How did you convert to an svg? I have noticed with some files I have to trace them in silhouette studio and save the traced design as an svg before proceeding.

Could you use a laminating machine? I don’t have a printer like you have.
If you don’t have a sublimation printer you can also buy inkjet printable canvas.
What if you want to use circle drills?
The grid would be the same for circle or square drills.
Everytime I try and add a element to my template it takes over the the whole thing as the background
If you have already added your background go ahead and lock that layer then you can add elements on top. I hope that helps.

Wow, what a super video! Thanks for sharing the inside scoop on how to do this. I've been video hopping, including yours and several others, to master this method. Guess what? I've pinged Canva with a feature request. Some of these steps are a bit long-winded, and I reckon Canva could add some turbo to our design journeys. Here's what I shot over to them: - Why not have an in-app magic carpet for our files? This way, we won't need to shuttle them through the web, and Canva could emulate the process in a jiffy. - How about an automatic switcheroo for black colors into custom frame shapes? There's a mountain of guides on how to craft custom frame shapes and the like. These popular tasks should be a cinch with built-in Canva features. It's a bit of a detour to have to download and then re-upload files, just to keep the Canva vibe going.

Where do you get the diamonds for your custom painting?
I personally use diamond dotz since I can get them locally at Michael’s as I need them.
I'm confused... What was the point of lining up the two halves if you just print them separately?
Also, what is ghosting? And how do you prevent it?
Some people have the capability to print larger prints. I prefer to print in one piece if possible.
Ghosting is when the sublimation transfer paper shifts on the substrate during the sublimation process or when the heat press surfaces are exposed to residual ink

I do not have a Silhouette. Can you do this same process with Cricut Design Space?

i tried using the basic version of the application however I can not merge a pdf or svg document. Do you have another application that I might be able to use. Located in South Africa so us currency is a big problem for us
It does require the business edition. I am currently in the process of finding other ways. I will add an update video once another cost effective method is found.

I have made sublimated cheer bows before, but it has always been from templates already designed. It was easy for me to upload from my Cricut and print from there. Now I am stuck. I bought your template and designed the 4 quadrants on the bow… but now how do I print it? It isn’t in two long strips like I am used to. It is in a bow shape. Any advice? I’m sure this is simple, but I’m confused. 😂
The bow shape is for the mock up. The template should also come with the 2 strips divided into 4 parts .
You mentioned sublimation. I can print this on sublimation paper and then press onto my canvas? What type of canvas do I purchase with the sticky. Sorry I am confused. Thank you in advance.
Yes you can sublimate it onto poly canvas. And use the tack it over and over glue or double sided tape to make your canvas sticky. I give step by step in one of my other videos. Does it require a paid subscription to use powerpoint fill/shape option.. I don't see it on my canvas toolbar?
I am not positive. I am still using the version that came with my laptop when I upgraded, but I don’t currently subscribe to office. It may differ depending on what version you have. Do you have any fill options?

I am curious if you can help me. I made letters into SVGs and followed all your same steps, but when I upload my images into canva and do the "delete step, it deletes everything. Any idea of what I am doing wrong?
I will try to explain as best as possible. I have noticed the same issue with some svgs. To fix the problem I trace the svg in silhouette studio and save and use the traced image. That has been my only work around and it always works. I hope this helps.
Can you show us how you sublimate the ribbon and put the bow together?

I am working on a design that I want to add a trace to the letters. I am trying to add an offset in silhouette studio, but am so new to this and want to make sure I am doing it right. Do you have a video on how to do this? It basically like you did with the letters, but with the black or any color trace around it. @simplyjazibydesign I do actually and struggle with it a lot. I want to learn how to create custom SVGs, make the fonts thicker, creating new fonts, adding fonts, tracing and detaching and sizing. Do you cut from silhouette to a cameo? If so, cutting, calibration, etc. Sorry, I have so many ideas. I have been slowly creating content myself and think of these things myself. I am so new to it all so I get stuck at times.

Amazon has printable tapestries around $20
There are many websites available you just have to search google, but I can’t confirm any other companies quality.

You can either clear cover film from diamond dotz or parchment paper. Not wax paper.

The silhouette studio step s not a necessity. If you have a simple svg or vector file you can take it to power point and create the frame. The main thing is having the original file in svg format.
