Best video I’ve seen yet. Better flow than most rather than a hundred little steps you’ll never remember.
She is wearing some of the best skates ever made. !!
I’ve looked at modern-day tutorials and none of them make sense. This is actually good..
Now I wanna move to Pennsylvania to learn from this guy !!!
Direct to the point. Thanks
I'm 37 just started skating and hockey 4 months ago, I'm learning from these kids :)
That's awesome good teacher with the kids and awesome advice thank you
Really great video One of the best I’ve seen if not the best
This skating tip 11 years later and still on time. Thank you
Mom was always sure to tie my ankles really tight too !!!!👍
She is a real good teacher!!!!
I used to shoot off a piece of plywood or wall paneling I found wetting it down didn't make it any slicker shooting off a piece of drive plywood is okay but still so much friction two things occur I have an evil hard shot because of that and I also had to go through literally hundreds of sticks cuz back then there were no such thing as composition I never saw two piece till my last year a midget triple A and even when one piece is did come up I actually prefer the feel of the old Sherwood PMP extra stiff my shot was still over 90 miles an hour I did play Junior A but I had some very serious bad habits off the ice that prevented me from going any further which I easily could have done . One thing I don't hear stressed enough in these videos is respect for everybody involved in the game from the Zamboni driver to everybody else especially your teammates and coaches keep a high level of respect for everyone you deal with in your life including yourself and the sky's the limit of course working hard at my practice it goes without saying good luck kids being coachable is a good thing, but I'm sorry to ran in the parade but those aren't snapshots those are half slap shots snapshots are important because almost all one timers are snapshots and a one-time or is a huge part of the game without a good snapshot your goal production is guaranteed to be a limited by at least 30 to 50%
Her backwards crossovers are very clean, very precise. I can do good backwards crossovers including the crossunder, but I can’t do the crossunder on its own.
See I've been inside edging my t-stops without thinking anything of it, and not seeing this explanation combining two types of stop into one which I know and can confidently do either left me hesitant to try a proper stop. Can't wait to hit the ice again for my third session next week now to give this a go.
Nice
Hi madam you r so nice u r my teacher
Wow ive watchrd so many other vids but the gact that they said plow stop and t stop helped so much
Perfect advice presure from heel to toe....
really useful video. many thanks
It’s not the snow ploughing, it’s the sliding that’s hard. I felt you began with step 2 instead of step 1.
We don’t know how to slide like that though. The snow is just the positioning of the foot but how to you slide?
🔔👌🏾👌🏾👍🏽👍🏽
That one kid with the socks over the heel is triggering my ocd
Let’s go Pa puck for representing the state big I’ve got a lot of appreciation for you ♥️👍
This video, along with a video made by the channel itrain hockey are what taught me how do backwards crossovers, and now I can go backwards at top speed, and it really helps with playing defense, because it allows one to gain a lot of speed going backwards
So, when I'm starting to break, should I turn only my legs bending my knees and my hips?
Who is watching this in 2021
Lol I didn’t know someone else would be watching in 2021 too
Me
this is an awesome video thank you! even had double speed tip with the under cut.
I don't give a puck!
This is super helpful for us beginners because you show yourself teaching beginners! Wayyyy too many “tutorial” videos have a pro demonstrating the finished product or moving way too fast through a description. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS!
I cant stop on my weak side I need help
Excellent video and very well explained. It's actually very technical so you really have to watch it a few times. I used the exercises on my players and got results. So thank you very much for the help.
I have Ben practice this all summer
I already know how to do Mohawks, but I enjoy watching this video.
Great instructional videos. The mechanics that you teach translate well from the videos to actually trying them on the ice. Best videos I've come across on techniques.
This is the best video ever for learning hockey techniques. I learned all the advanced techniques, such as Mohawks, backwards crossovers, and hockey stops from this video. Thank you so much. Very helpful.
Great video. Thank you
this is by FAR the best video i've seen on teaching the moves needed leading up to doing an actual back crossover. very step by step progression and moreover it makes sense! thanks.
The best video I’ve seen. Finally I can see it in my head
Or.... just pivot, so much easier
Which way should the blade curve for a given handed player? It looks like they are right handed, right hand at top, blade curves to right, shoot from left side. It "appears" that a right hander uses a "left-handed" stick. However a few players I know told me that's wrong, and the "strong" hand goes at the bottom, and shoot across body from right to left if right handed, with a blade that curves to the left. So which is it?
5 years ago I watched this and who shoots and then falls down on purpose
He never said it was on purpose
They don’t need sticks this is stupid
actually no. They have to get used to be with the stick on the ice. I suppose that is why they have it all the time, during all trainings, because its hockey, not a figure skating.
Mainframe go get a job I’m a better hockey player than you
@@nickdesantis6707 lol, how did u find out who is better? lol
Mainframe I looked at your profile picture and your a nerd
@@nickdesantis6707 lol wut :D probably u would be really surprised in the real life :D I suppose that u are little and fat because this kind of guys are often jealous and angry, moreover, looks like u are from the US, so there is high chance im right))
Thank you for this! I have been watching so many videos, but yours was the one that made the most sense! T-Stop + Snow Plow Stop! Will definitely practice this tomorrow. Thanks again.
🙏👍
That kid's spin-o-rama move though... ouch! Bet he can REALLY burn some opposing players with that in a game.
I wish I was part of a class like this
best video teaching stops. thanks
these 11 year old girls have mastered the stop and me, 30 years old can't do it brb commiting sudoku
Elizabeth breaks down fast moves into parts you can practice one at a time, it's awesome.
