Indian all the way! The vibe with Indian is and always has been way cooler than HD. I’ll tell you from experience because I have both, Harley Davidson is like Darth Vader and Indian is more like Luke Skywalker. My Indian scout turns heads every time I’m out. My 2023 limited edition anniversary heritage softail doesn’t even get a second look. Go figure.

You can tell right away that they favored the Indian, they did better takes and close ups. I Will start saying that the Indian Scout competes against the Sportster S, both are water cooled. When you see an Indian on the street you think right away. OK a poor man's Indian.😊

I mean I don’t need tech on the scout I prefer not to have abs if I lock my tires I did it intentionally but being honest I’ve tuned my scout gave it a better intake and exhaust and being honest she’s perfect and I prefer analog setups as A it’s a nice astetic for a storied bike brand and the style for the scout does that anyway and B if the digital set up goes out you can’t ride which is common on all Harley’s because if it ain’t broke it ain’t a Harley and with Indian there dealerships while small in number has always taken great care of my scout and never gave me the run around while Harley screws you as hard as they can to get as much money as they can out of you for what normally takes a hour of work also the Indian set ups are hell of reliable and I have had no issues

A road or a place that seems average and not exciting in a car becomes alive and shares it magic when you are on a motorcycle. This is because on a motorcycle you feel, smell, hear and sense the rhythm of life around you. In a car with A/C, stereo etc you are insulated from your surroundings. On a motorcycle you must be more alert tuned into everything.

I've had H, S, K & Y - street and dirtbikes - from Japan since my 1st Honda CL200 Scrambler in 1974. All have been enjoyable and bulletproof. I've never had a true "failure" item with any of them, just the usual wear items. 2 yrs ago I bought my 1st "Eurobike", a new Triumph Speed Triple S & so far (26k mi) it has matched all of my wonderful Japanese bikes in anvil-like reliability & with it I have gotten the most mileage I've ever received from a OEM drive chain/ sprockets. I am quite pleased with this bike as the overall fit/ finish is a bit nicer than any of my Japanese bikes but really insignificant function wise. I feel very fortunate to have been blessed with truly wonderful motorcycles now for 50+ years!

To Me I Choose Honda, we all have our own choices. Honda is Reliable and cheap to maintenance

Low rider s is better, I can't understand how Indian puts such a big engine with an air cooling system, the engine gets too hot in traffic and cylinder deactivation doesn't help much

K1600B - 125 with floor boards 110 recommended K1600GA- 105 with weight in top box or passenger 81 recommended. These bikes are neutered by bmw. My 2009 FLHTP HD is faster than these two and it’s got 70 hp. I also have a ga. Quick not fast.

If I wanted to pay 2 arms and a leg for a bike (Harley, Indian) that ain't as reliable as a Japanese, I'd commit myself to an insane asylum. Japanese cruisers look as good or better than a Harley that's made over-seas somewhere like China. At least my cruiser ain't made in China.
