Cooking almost all meals from scratch can quickly get me in a rut. This week I'm sharing food I made and meals we ate to share some ideas with you.
These days, the dish that is on repeat is my own version of a rice pilaf with whatever vegetables are dancing through my kitchen that day. I also made my first oxtail which I'll need to brush up on for the next time I cook it.
I also share a little August garden tour with you showing off our beautiful flowers (zinnia's, delphinium's and sunflowers are showing off right now), as well as some of our tomatoes and pumpkin patch. There are glimpses of our fall crops slowly emerging. My hope is that they will grow well over these next few warm weeks we have before the winter comes.
