Dolly Parton came right by my Back Porch Theatre stage this Memorial Day Weekend (2024)! Twice! The love and respect her adoring fans have for her is unlike anything I've ever witnessed. She brings people together so seamlessly and for those moments, you become completely unaware of any outside pain and suffering. It's beautiful! I admit, I teared up a little as her song "Together You and I" got louder and louder as she came around the corner. I overdubbed my original 'New New' for copyright purposes). See how close she was to my stage? It was incredible. Her light touches the world and I could actually FEEL it, just 50 feet away.
