A six minute clip but stay with it as you witness the way television presentation used to be. There was even time to set the video going or to make a cuppa without missing the start of your educational programming.

I thought this was real when I was four years old. My arms still hurt 😂
This cartoon just popped in my head out of nowhere the other day. I used to watch this as a kid in the 70s.
Cinema
I can't wait watch this show on MeTV Toons launch
I remember some later credits from the 80s - red coloured backgrounds and clips maybe?
Lewis Collins looks a bit like Ted Bundy in the thumbnail..
why is his name David?
So sad this role wasn't given to Bruce Lee.
shout out to RZA for sampling that
Love it
this hits me so hard to home. Not while ago I lost my mom to diabetes and stroke. I still miss her today.
I have a Hong Kong Phooey lunchbox. Loved the cartoon!
Before 'Blade' came out in 98, this *was* the best live action adaptation of a Marvel comic. The Spider Man show, the Captain America movie, and Generation X were pretty dismal. The Punisher and Howard The Duck have their fans. the Nick Fury TV movie was pretty ridiculous.
This theme song meant we were leaving my Grandparents house to an hour car ride home. I was about 5 at the time and always wanted to stay and watch the cartoon. My "father" was a master at deprivation so whatever we wanted he made sure we didn't get it. Remember the song word for word and him bitching in the background to hurry up and get in the GD car. Aren't memories precious?
The Incredible Hulk TV series mastered the art of slow motion.
Best thing about it
JUST BRILLANT THE MUSIC GIVES ME GOOSE BUMPS DON'T MAKE SHOWS SADLY LIKE THIS ANYMORE THE CONTIER CAST TAKE A BOW🧌
The music is glorious.
God, I loved this show. It used to be on a Friday night, at about 7 o'clock, on ITV, in the early 1970s. I was about 8.
I love watching bill bixby hulk video because he was great his videos of hulk were super great l wish they l could watch them all great actor
Usually sandwiched between a Thames Tv comedy followed by The Sweeney at 9pm. Memories!
Love this show.
What music name is that?
The art really emphasizes the horror of an "indestructible" main character lol
The Incredible Trump to Joe Biden: "China Joe, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."
F is for Family is a ripoff of this.
Luv that trumpet
This show is basically a animated version of All in the family
This "Don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry." line is THE GREATEST in superhero history for the HULK.
当時日本の若者が小生を含め少なからず彼の生き様に憧れてたと思う
I'm the lonely man
Frankenstein music
Words cant describe how much i love this. Takes me back to my childhood.
If I made the classic Incredible Hulk series (and other retro Marvel shows): I would NOT cheaply cast any bodybuilding actor to play Hulk. I would hire Ray Harryhausen to make a realistic stop-motion Hulk figurine (as well as ones of She-Hulk and the villains), use camera-tricks to make Hulk look eight-feet-tall and then have him go around rampaging an entire towering model of New York City like he's King Kong. And then I would hire voice actors.
"Ow I hurt myself changing this tire".
Hell nah they gonna put this oldschool cartoon on MeTv Toons next month lol 😆
Although I live in Belgium... I saw it on our tele back then in the 70's when I was a child... it was a rather frightening but amusing experience back in those days ...especially the dissonant harpsichord parts in the music. It scared the shit out of me. Love it now.
Still an ICONIC theme and show after all these decades. I would rather watch the tv show than either of the Huk movies.. That is sad but true. And they weren't bad but it is hard to follow up with the humanizing of this version of the Dr. Banner and the beast that dwells within.. Classic.
Frfr. And the old shows/cartoons versions of she hulk are easily better than that Trainwreck in the MCU.
Oh what a beautiful melody. It says 1960s through and through. As others have said, I don’t remember watching the programmes but that tune brings back such happy memories.
This makes me miss my childhood ❤
The voices sounds like Fred Flintstone
My favorite TV time in 1980
I grew up in the 70s and I’ve never heard about this cartoon
Granada Plus Later Repeated Shang-A-Lang From 1999-2001 Mainly On Saturday Mornings At 8.30am
As a kid, I found this image of Vitruvian Man scary, especially his big hair
J'ai été l'attaché de presse de ce film lors de sa sortie à Paris pour les Films Jacques Leitienne ! Super souvenir !
Love master Kahn and master po great wisdom
Oldie but a goodie.... Love em or hate em they were a huge part of the 70's
RIP Bill Bixby.
I somehow always loved watching these montage of Scarlet dying and these catchy song just makes it so much better
