I'm planning to retire in the Philippines, and I've always needed a purpose. I can't keep up with the fast and demanding pace of the hospital, and I am getting to old to foster another group of foster kids.
When I retire I want to devote the rest of my life to helping the struggling families in the Philippines.

Repotting a dracaena marginata. Yellow cultivar remains yellow, and white remains white, but the pink changes to red, white changes again. Dracaena marginatas make good houseplant due to it's ease of care and maintenance. It handle low to high light, but prefers high light. It can get accustomed to direct sun light, but can burn.

It’s not actually a cactus, it is a succulent - Euphorbia lactea White Ghost.
I get rid of those bugs with a strong spray of water and than spray with a mixture of soap and alcohol. The alcohol drys out the shells of the bug.

Gosh, Cactus is succulent. It takes more water than regular Cactus can. The pot size is good but needs to be a little deeper

I love my golden pothos and it occurred to me that I can propagate her and have many more babies around the house! Do you recommend a certain time of year for this? It's cold and wet in my region (pacific northwest US) in the winter, so I suspect springtime may be better...

Honestly I never liked snake plants and was very much opposed to them until I saw a sansevieria sayuri. It looks so elegant, and I had to buy it. Now it is one of my favorite plants.

Why would you use the same soil from a plant that was not doing well?
I so love Philodendrons! I have a huge Brasil, Lemon, Lime and this one. They take a long time to grow, but when they do, they are stunning.
