I think you overlooked strange but actually most plausible (in my view) scenario: Seluvis killed himself by turning himself into his own puppet. Or the body he used was already remotely controlled as a puppet and he simply deactivated it. Why? So he would not face retaliation from Ranni after his scheme failed. Here are the arguments: 1. You can safely discard Blaidd, Gideon and Sellen as suspects because it is possible to finish their quests before even meeting Seluvis. 2. Death (?) of Seluvis is triggered either by Ranni learning about the scheme after you tricked her or after she leaves her tower. Meaning that Seluvis's death (?) is caused by some event that has to do with Ranni. 3. Nothing in the narrative suggests Ranni knows how to make a potion. Nothing suggests she knows about a scheme if you don't poison her (no evidence she learnt about a scheme on her own and took revenge). Nothing suggests that Ranni is capable of physically or magically assaulting Seluvis by forcing him to drink a potion. It is also not in her character because she is a cold-blooded sociopath, not a sadistic psychopath. Narrative shows repeatedly that Ranni is pursuing her goals in efficient manner, she would not waste time with melodramatic revenge, she would just kill Seluvis and move on. 4. There is no evidence to suggest that Pidia controls Seluvis. If that was the case then it would mean that somehow for no reason Ranni's departure activated Pidia's puppets, which makes no sense. 5. Seluvis is not a puppet of Ranni because he tries to make her a puppet herself. 6. There is no sign of any struggle at his tower. None. So it not only excludes assassins and Iji, but strongly suggests there was no assailant in the first place. 7. Narrative suggests that it is Seluvis who knows how to make puppets and potions, not anyone else. Circumstances of Seluvis' death (?) limit the potential suspects to two names: Ranni and Seluvis. But Ranni has no means, no opportunity and no motive, according to the narrative (headcanon and "what if" are not evidence). On the other hand, Seluvis has all three. By pulling Ranni on Ranni and discarding his own flesh to control his astral form (puppeteering himself) he escapes death at her hands, even though it means he loses access to his other puppets, which are stored by Pidia. Which is kind of ironic when you think about it and meshes with the themes of the game better.

I wonder if anyone tried to run Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk at the same time on PC to try to solve it, or try to swap discs on console. Like try to get to the wall symbol in W3 at 4am with cyberpunk in the background.

Regarding the Polyhistor, I'm pausing the video at 1:05:39 just so I don't forget the idea I get the mystery is pretty heavily meta and might spam two different video games universes, but regarding its relationship to Cyberpunk specifically it seems like narratively this could be the doings of an AI. The deeper into the net you go the weirder it gets. Murphy got to see bartmoss go off the deep end and crash the net. This is super similar to Lovecraftian horror. In fact, Maximum Mike talks about an old friend (possibly Murphy) telling him about how the net is actually hell. Seeing as how Witcher is fantasy, and Cyberpunk's more supernatural stuff are usually tied in some way to the net, I wonder if the play here is that there's an AI that can see beyond the vale of our monitors, but can only interact with the universes of the witcher and cyberpunk.

This is a very elaborate way to justify their Witcher 3 references in Cyberpunk 2077. Since Ciri has the capacity to travel through both time and space, yet only 'mastered' the capacity to travel through space, perhaps this is designed to wrap up how she figured out how to time-travel as well. All those sensors and laptops out in the boonies reminded me immediately of the polished crystals mages would utilize to communicate across vast distances.

There is this cool thing that I don’t think many people noticed, when you injured your arm in battle, sometimes your character may say “ahh this liberty forsaken arm”, made me realise they don’t use the word “God” instead using the word liberty, as if it’s their religion, I think it’s a interesting world building thing 😅

I think it's kinda funny. A game that sort of delves into the theme of existentialism here they've seeminly dropped in some sort of secret that probably just had no meaning to begin with through the persistence of human 'cleverness' was given the meaning.

Some sort of Messiah, created by a machine's virus replacing the humanity underneath. So, ignoring the gnostic self-masturbation, tge Witcher's bastion is clearly allusion to Arasaka Tower. No Future Trust No One is attacking the Arasaka Tower solo in the last mission. Turn Around means you need to turn around at some point and not finish the quest "properly" by accessing Mikoshi. My guess is after entering the Mikishi room you are meant to leave by some hidden wall-door. But currently I don't have CP77 installed to test it.
