How would you apply this to kids baseball games? The games are about 1.4 hours.

Amazing video man, especially for an LA native.. Really lets you know how big LA is and how many "nooks and crannies" there are lol. Also a photographer, I have been shooting Downtown for a LONG time, and still didn't know about the spiral orange garage. Walked by it a zillion times but, never been inside. Super cool ! I watched this whole video, SUBSCRIBED.

I just walked around the LA Live and surrounding areas the other day. As dirty as LA is it does have a feel and really cool look to it. My preference is to move back to San Diego but LA is definitely unique. Saw some human crap on the ground and the entire downtown area smells like piss so these are huge turn offs.

Excellent video my guy

So I have been at a crossroads a lot with my photography. Am I the photographer that does individual clients designing beautiful looks for my clients (what I do now) or go more into the commercial space with fashion. I believe I have my pricing the way it needs to be for individual clients, but I am not so sure with commercial work. I have done many “collabs” and I believe we all have gotten what we need from them. The more I watch your channel and others I wont mention, everyone is on a different path. Do you photograph everyday people or just models?

Great tutoring from a great mentor

Hi Walid, great video as always. The only thing that I didn't completely agree is the part about "lying". Instead of saying that you grew up in that area and therefore you know the best places to shoot at, you could say something like: I've shot there before and have a nice list with my favourite locations, I'll share it with you so that we can get ready in advance for the shooting. Just an idea 😇 Greetings from Mallorca!

Downtown used to look so much nicer. Somehow it still looks rundown even after it's been renovated. There's spots and shooting locations all over LA, it's a big place. But it's nice to see Downtown get a little love.

I did photography 20 years ago and couldn’t make it work as I didn’t know much about business then. I went in to construction, I have my own business and I use most of those pricing techniques, and by far the most valuable is being there friend, as then you have clients for life as they trust you. I’ve starting to get back into photography, now I have more business experience and video like yours with your wealth of experience are helping loads. Thanks

Hi Walid! I have a question. I truly experienced this when I told a lady my rate for a headshot session. She did exactly what you said, trying to come down to 1/2 hour. However I'm conflicted, as my headshot sessions only take 30mins to an hour *advertised as an hour* for an individual. Am I unable to sell that as a package (just in an hour), or do I need to come up in the timeframe and add more to the experience? Sorry if I'm not fully grasping the concept! I Mightve gotten too used to cheapos near me for your same reason disclosed. Love your videos! ❤

When I shoot for NBC, they get everything... However this is all discussed upfront and in the contract. I use this analogy, if I was the cameraman for the the movie titanic, do I get the raw footage? But hey everyone, this guy is legit, I agree with 99.5% of what he says and the other 0.5% is just difference clients and situations.
