Hello, When empty it feels like having 170HP from what I remember. In the newer model it seems you keep 210HP, I guess due to some kind of reserve power/battery.

@jardonnour For the RPMs. On the model with the digital gauges, there's a smaller circle below the power % meter that shows engine rpm. I was wondering if that can be shown on this car? Thanks for your response :)

@jamesreno3321 oh yeah indeed. On this specific car I had, it could also show the RPM tachometer (circle style) in the middle of the screen.

@MoiCesMoi71 hello, Alors la voiture est compatible avec myAudi. Je ne sais pas si cela dépend des options de ton modèle mais la mienne l’avait. Il y avait l affichage de l autonomie, des distances parcourues, de la localisation et pouvoir activer le chauffage et la clim à distance, entre autre. Et vu que tu auras le premier modele, et non la facelift, il existe un mode de conduite caché du à un bug. Le mode Sport EV. J ai fais une vidéo à ce sujet.

Hello, Well auris is higher class and a bit more comfortable than this Yaris generation. Price, size, comfort and budget are different. It really depends what you are looking for and your usual drives. Yaris are less comfortable on highways than Auris for example. But both are reliable.

@@jardonnour both i can hear the beeps that im close to something but i cant see anything on the display. The button that you have next to the danger triangle the P-A button is dont have it

@iclapsqueakers_9249 I think that in that case you do not have the options. The button that i have that you don’t allows you to manually activate the sensors and have it displayed on the MMI (something that is called Optical Parking System if not mistaken). I thought that was standard on the facelift but maybe not ? If you do not have this, I guess you can’t have the automated parking system. Those are 2 separate buttons.

Bonjour et merci pour votre retour. De mon côté je n’ai eu le préchauffage que 3-4 fois en 4 ans et ce peu importe les température extérieures. Par contre j’ai eu la version 2015. Si vous avez eu la facelift il est possible que se soit différent.

Bonjour, Dans la dernière A3 TFSIe je n ai pas trouvé de lecteur de carte SD ni DVD. Le véhicule n’a pas besoin d être éteint pour regarder un DVD. Il suffit d’être à l’arrêt. Lorsqu on accélère, la vidéo s éteint mais le son continu. Même si vous regarder le moteur éteint, le système MMI s éteint au bout de quelques minutes pour éviter le risque de se retrouver à plat. Il existe également des moyens pour que la vidéo continue en roulant. 😊

I do not have a specific guide in my head l, however the Audi manual is quite good, but if you have questions maybe I ll be able to answer it. I had this car for 4 years so I probably remember some things 😅

Hello, Doing these steps will completely deactivate TRC and VSC, UNTIL you restart your engine :) After restarting, TRC and VSC will be active again.

I was teaching my son how to drive and when he was testing how clutch, break, hand break works he most likely pressed clutch, break, and pulled hand break in some strange sequence as suddenly TRC, VSC and CHECK ENGINE lights on my 2006 Toyota Corolla Verso went on. Car was driving normally and engine did not loose any power. Once we got home I was researching what could be the solution to this sudden and strange problem. I knew it was most likely some computer error. Some videos presented different possibile solutions. But your advice@@jardonnour made most of the sens, knowing when those lights of TRC, VSC, CH ENG, went on. So I tried your trick - had to do it 3 times , and 3rd time was successful. All works well, no errors. Thank you m8. Appreciate you a lot.

Hello, Both will let you drive in EV when battery is low (up to a point). Engine will turn on if you ask too much of the EV when battery is low.

@@jardonnour Thanks. I actually test drove a 2021 model today and the battery had 10km range and the EV option was greyed out.

So that is weird. I do not know your full context (outside temperature, features on, Heating, which mode you started the car, if the engine was hot enough if it was on…). I have the 2021 model and I am not grey at 10 KM remaining. More around 1-3 KM remaining.

@@jardonnour Outside temperature was about 6C, heating was on but on low temp 14C.

Hmm still in those conditions, 10KM is to high for EV unavailability. Never ran into that level.

Hello, The riding comfort and noise while driving is for me quite similar from what I remember. Nothing has really shocked me in this new version in that matter. There is just the new « EV noise » that has been added which makes it quite strange when you are used to NOT having the noise. Seats are good, suspensions good but a bit stiff because of the weight (old and new model). Also Very comfortable for highway driving (noise, comfort).

Hello, Even for the newer A3 TFSIe, temperature can’t be set through the app, which is quite disappointing, but you can remotely lock and unlock the car (at least that). That s also a question a was asking myself but I strongly doubt it heats the ICE or oil.

Hello, Yes indeed it does. I don’t remember if the basic lights are by default (with limited colors) but the one I have has 40 colors (something like that) that came as optional.

Bonjour et merci à toi, Tu trouveras aussi un petit essai sur la chaîne pour ce model récent. Alors si tu parles de la A3 e-Tron (2015 et 2017 facelift) pour laquelle j’ai fait beaucoup de vidéos, la voiture commence à dater un peu. Le problème que cela peut poser est surtout pour l’autonomie qui pourrait être affectée avec le temps et le kilométrage. Dans ce cas, il s’agit donc d’un point d’attention très important. Avec 8 ans de garantie pour les batteries, la date est déjà dépassée pour la 1ère génération. Hormis cela, la A3 e-tron est une super voiture que je n’ai pas regrettée et su apprécier pendant 4 ans (luxe, confort, puissance). Par contre, niveau autonomie en EV, on est bien inférieur des modèles récents (comme celui exposé ici). Je n’ai pas eu de problème particulier avec la A3 e-tron. Toyota restera tout de même à mon sens plus fiable. Concernant ton hésitation, difficile à dire. On est dans 2 mondes distincts avec plus de fiabilité coté Toyota mais plus de confort et de luxe coté Audi. Tout dépend de ce que tu recherches en premier, quels sont tes critères les plus important et bien sur le budget.

Maybe the newer models have more range by now but it is a very good car. Loved it. If you want a second hand from this specific model, range is still not that bad but gotta try it first :)

Thaaaaannnnkkkk you. What you say is that the battery status might not be good. I was thinking on the model from 2021 forward so this last one. Between this and GLC300 e or de and Bmw X3 30e what would you choose? Is there another way to speak with you? Email? Is it possible? I read read read see a lot of opinions but I'm stuck 😢 and for me and my family it will be a huge investment

@@BrunoGaliano Hello again :) Unfortunately I do not have any experience with Mercedes and BMW in this regard. I agree that it is a scary and huge investment with those kind of price tags (I am always a bit scared too). It is very important to check everything related to possible issues with those cars and check for some answers concerning : Battery capacity EV range ICE and EV consumptions (although they are too optimistic as usual) Charging technology (affecting charging time) (the Q5 TFSIe presented here might be more limited than recent Mercedes) Overall Comfort (it is imperative you test those cars) And of course your personal taste (I do prefer Audi style than Mercedes and BMW). The car HAS to please you aesthetically + comfort + driving sensation. More recent cars might have better hybrid technology, battery capacity and electronic in regard of engines management affecting comfort and fuel efficiency when using both engines. I know it might not answer your questions and doubts as this hybrid field is a bit special (that’s why I started this channel in the beginning).

Don't imagine how happy I am to receive your and feedback 😊 in fact the new models are now more efficient at least is what they are trying to "sell". My problem is of course the amount that we need to spare for it and in this case not possible to reach this new models prices. Although in 6 months I think new Q5 will be revealed with more capacity etc the last facelift if everything that you mentioned is fine I guess it will be my bet ;) The car is awesome nobody is different when it passes. Let's cross fingers that everything will be fine. I'll of course buy only in a official Audi dealer. Once again thank you! Indeed facelifts will come during this year if not mistaken. Some will be their last « versions » of themselves before going (unfortunately), full and only electric engines, like for the A3. Hello and thank you :) For this reason I would take the facelift version. I do not know if they kind provide this kind of document or even info (usually dealers just may not care). The charge option is not really important (not a deal breaker) as it would be useful mainly on highways and it does consume a lot of fuel. The facelift just does not have the S EV mode bug that I have published. As said, still better go with facelift :)

The comfort is good enough for me. I do not have any problems with very long distances. The car is comfortable :)
