Hey Cait, always great to hear from you! Yay, I have two tattoos. One is a small purple flower and initials for a high school friend who was killed by a drunk driver a week after graduation. The other is on my foot and up my ankle and has fall leaves, a snowflake, a rose, and some green leaves which all represent my family in some way.

I would LOVE to go to that event, it sounds so much fun to experience a book cope to life Nay! I used to want a few little kinda minimalistic ones, but as time has passed I don't care much for them anymore, it's not that I don't like them, but they kinda became a bit meeeh for me personally

I didnt pick up an DPs this week, I really need to finish some wips before making any more purchases. Yay for tattoos, I don't personally have any but my bestie keeps sending me tiktok of best friend tattoo ideas so I feel like that might be happening in the future. And I have some plants for a larger tatto incorporating a coyote (my favorite animal) and native flowers from the area I am from. <3

I was happy to see you back this week❤. I understood why you were out this past week. I’ve struggled this past month with so much that is keeping my mind on alert. The anxiety is real and I just need my family to be there and understand. I’ve tried to keep myself busy with diamond painting and preparing for my first grandchild. I’m just having trouble focusing. Yay, I have 3 small butterflies 🦋 on my wrist. There is one for each of my children. They all have transformed and grown to be wonderful adults and found their ways. We all really have changed over the years but love is still a strong bond.

I have a tattoo of the red feather in Peter Pan’s cap to remind myself never to grow up. And yes, I will acknowledge the irony that getting a tattoo is a very grown-up thing to do. 😂

So happy for another video. Glad you took some time to care for your Mental Health. Hopefully traditional painting and diamond painting will help w/ your anxiety. It really helps me.

I’m happy to see you back! It sounds like you were dealing with a lot and sometimes we need to step back. I actually have three tattoos. On the outside of my right ankle I have a bird surrounded by flowers and it’s a memorial piece for my grandmother. I have on my upper back and top of my shoulder a rosary with a butterfly orchid which is a memorial piece for my grandmothers. I also have one on my chest of a butterfly to cover a scar. I would like to get two more. One being a memorial piece for my mom. I also want to get one for my daughter who is so strong and an inspiration.

I purchased two MrsbutterD canvases this week with Witchcraft Room and Ramen Shop along with The Peanuts and Sesame Street stickers. Shopping spree! I’m a yay this week with three tattoos. I have some regrets, but they tell a story about me so it’s ok.

I’m glad you’ve got the Sanderson convention to look forward to with your kiddos. Maybe they’ll have some fun ideas for costumes for the formal dinner. As for question of the week, yes I do have a couple tattoos that I got as a young adult that I love. And I’ve seen some of the new tattoos they’re doing now which looks so cool but I’m hesitant to be the old lady heading into an ink shop. 😂

I’m sorry you’re struggling right now. I too on occasion worry about anything and everything. You and your dad diamond painting was precious. I saw your new DAC kit and I have mine ready to go. We kept the Bbq down home with all our loved ones. Sometimes it needs to be simple. I love it when I get a project to a goal it makes me feel accomplished. I love how your Rose 🌹 Library is looking. Sometimes I have to change up my day to make my mental mood better. My day of work has to start at 8am, I’m changing up my evening routine to help me. I hope your next week picks up. The crystal drills look great on your temperature project! Is there a different kind of video you could do instead of WIPnChat in the future that is shorter and easier to talk about? Maybe some background on one of the diamond paintings based on your art--like showing your original artwork and any process WIPS if you have them, any commentary about the process or why you designed it in that way, and then showing the diamond painting and how you thought it rendered? A stash tour? Some diamond painting tips? I personally don't mind when creators take breaks of course--do what you need to do! PS I completely share your concerns. Usually I cope with the stress of life by obsessively doing hobbies, but I'm now on week 4 of pain in both wrists, and that has pretty much kept me from doing ANY of my hobbies. It's a huge bummer (finally got a referral to see a specialist today because the first treatment option didn't work, so hoping for relief soon!)

Kate you aren't the only one who struggles with depression, just hang in there. I don't know if you see anyone for it. I do every other week. I also take medication for it. It is a struggle when you are arectrying to find the right one, but if you want to tey it can help. Any way I know exactly what you mean about this country. Can't do much about it, but, go and vote in November even if you are not feeling it then. Even if it goes badly, at least it is the least one can do to let your opinion get out there. Take care.

I know it won't help, but i've totally been where you are in terms of not being ok. It waxes and wanes, but man the valleys are deep and lonely. Hi, Cait. I just want to send a message letting you know you’re not alone. And I want to give you all the respect for being so vulnerable and open. Firstly, your choice of crystals and the neutral background for your temperature conversion project is really beautiful! I can tell that you have an artist’s eye for what looks good together and how to make it pop nicely. Secondly, I have been struggling with a lot of the feelings you mentioned ever since the SCOTUS decision on DJT vs. the US as well as the debate. I’ve been struggling to find the shiny lining in each day. Sometimes it’s literally just a moment out of one full day. As such, I’ve turned to my comfort books and started reading-listening to the Dresden Files from the beginning for those moments of joy and comedy. I always turn to things I’ve read/watched before in times of emotional lows because they’re totally predictable and not difficult to follow. I hope that you can find some joyous moments in the days and weeks to come and clear the fog of depression and feelings of hopelessness away. ❤ many hugs.

I’ve been right there with ya, regarding the current climate in the US. This is not the country I know. Project 2025 is frightening, and that’s putting it mildly. All we can do is hope freedom wins in November.

I think that everyone that lives in the US is struggling mentally right now and if they're not it's because they're not paying attention.
