Mine isn't leaking, but I did a thorough cleaning of the spinning parts and I think I got some water where I wasn't supposed to and now today the laser supposedly doesn't work after being on the phone with customer service. They want to give me a refurbished machine of the same type and I'm pretty mad about it because I paid a lot of money for this - it shouldn't accumulate coffee oils to the point of making it almost impossible to open and close so that you have to scrub it like crazy and then get water where it's not supposed to which breaks the laser. 😡 if the laser is not broken I would like to know of a way to fix it myself and get it working again but so far everyone just tells me that I have to clean the clear part and that should fix it. I tried that and it still doesn't fix it and you can't take it out to really give it the best cleaning possible

Meanwhile I bought a jura-device and they charged me 2000 bucks. But it works. Never ever again Nespresso Verturo.

Same happened here. So upset. Had fantastic espresso at a friend's place while in Amsterdam. Came home and immediately purchased this unit, only to be disappointed with water everywhere from day 1. Not a small amount of water, about half of each cup (which seemed quite small compared to what I had experienced at my friend's place). So, water everywhere AND small cups of coffee and a waste of the expensive pods. HEY NESPRESSO, FIX THIS, FOOLS!!

Might help if you put a pod in before using.

Had the same issue twice, repaired by Nespresso and again after some weeks this issue. Bad quality designed to brake soon the force customers to buy a new one.

Original Line is the way to Go they are built to last less moving parts and uses a pressure system which gives you a closer espresso experience! I have the Creatista Plus by Breville and it makes cappucinos, lattes and since it is the Original Line you get waaay more choices of coffee flavors from 3rd party companies like Lavazza, Pete's Coffee, and even Starbucks makes pods for the Original Line machines!

This explains why they were discounted at 29 bucks around the holidays... and yes I fell for it 😅

Excellent tip. Would heating the seal help the black thing come off easier? I don't have that vibrating thingy.

Just completed this on my wifes 2015 Honda fit. Costco has 51R batteries. I used my Dremel to tuck and cut the tray a bit. Took like 3-5 minutes. Put everything together, fired up the car and reset the naigation by holding down the power button for 5 seconds. Worked like a charm. Thank you for this video!

I fixed mine by watching your video. Apparently it was clogged The pressure causes the water to leak because it was somewhat clogged. Blow with a small hose and many coffee particles come out. Thanks

what kind of screwdriver you used?

Great video tip and apologies for bringing up such an old video, but I assume you cleaned the inner panes of the IGU and put the pane back in service. Did you leave the IGU unsealed, and if so, how long did the inner panes stay somewhat clear until you had to clean them again? I would be surprised if you resealed the IGU, but in the unlikely case you did, did you reuse the metal spacers and buy a fresh tube of black IGU sealant caulking? If going this more difficult route I assume you heated the water absorbing powder in an oven for an hour and added the powder back in so that it could once again absorb humidity?

What a silly video! Clearly you have a faulty one that just needed to be returned. Not a big deal! You can't say don't buy it when you have q faulty machine. Also taking it apart may void the warranty.
