Great song... RUSH is awesome
Bro thank you for the video but please do all the prepping off screen or edit that, don't make the viewers sit for that. BTW please get to the point! That "securing the bars "was about 20 minutes right there
@@-MrRichBiker1967 thanks for the feedback and watching
You're riding a Hardley ableson....if the radio is as low tech and hasn't evolved at all like the bike it's likely still a tube type radio
😂
When poeple know how to build good looking, quality cars!
❤❤❤❤
Great feedback! Fact is that lowering it will actually cause stress on the swing arm, as the shock travel is all off...not only that but you also have weight limitations (in terms of having a passenger on it) as it will certainly rub at some point (on bumps, sharp turns etc). Best way to go is the lowest profile seat you can find- Le Pera in my opinion fixes the issue.
Mine does not pop. Might be just be the older radios mines Gts boombox.
Could be it. Also saw some folks say they had it with some aftermarket head units.
Great video Also, awesome graphic tee ❤
I'm glad I came across your video. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
So did the shop just stretch that 16" tire over the new rim?? Wasn't paying attention. Can I go from a 16" 100x90 to a 220x50 r22 Without having to buy new tires? They're a real pain in my sphincter!
I’m two years late but lemme ask could you use the back tire instead and then strap the handles down still so it doesn’t lean as much
I think it's possible with a bike that has a narrow back tire but I've never seen it done.
What rear lowering kit did you use for the rear is it just the bags or a combination? What brand?
Hey, what's up Petey, it's not a particular brand, more of a mix. Check it out. www.ebay.com/itm/232623676246?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=LGtLnFBQRrK&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=e3wdI4CkTFy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Belair Heaven!😮
Which brand of LEDs you running? Do you recommend them? Ty
I'm running HWStat LEDs, def recommend. I did a video measuring them against the generic eBay ones I had. czcams.com/video/sJG1TTJocvE/video.htmlsi=wKYjdXUUoE4Ti1CX
So many beautiful cars Wow
They make them classics ugly 😂😂😂😂😂
😂
(Questions on the 21 inch wheel) did the squealing on the rotors stop and what wheel spacers did you use on the new wheel,Im thinking about getting the same front wheel and rotors
The squealing went away for a bit but then came back so I polished up my stick rotors and put them back on. No more squeal. My outer spacers I'm using 2 1" because 1 of my calipers wasn't lining up perfectly. When I did the same style wheel on my Softail, I didn't need to change my stock spacers. For the inner, when you order the wheel they ask for make and model and they insert the correct one for you.
If you actually want to have a mirror finish you would need to sand off the factory clear coat from the wheel itself. Then do the polishing process.
If you do that, do you need to recoat it to protect it or would it just mean you would need to stay on top of it to avoid corrosion?
@@Mikeityourselfyou would just have to stay on top of the polishing
Thank you
Nice . But is it waterproof if guy using on a road king
Really good question. I'll look back at the page for it. I don't remember it being called out.
It isn't, dude might find out the hard way
Do you drill all 4 holes or just the rear
Just the two rear holes . Thanks for watching
What’s the size of the wire
Length or gauge? If gauge, I want to say it's 14 off the top of my head. Could be 16.
Cool cars
Would be nice to be able to see the bike!
I have a 93 softail heritage classic i put a 21 inch DNA wheel and rotor and the speedo dont match up with rotor. The speedo has like 1inch gap.
I have a 93 softail heritage classic i put 21 inch wheel and rotor from DNA the speedo dont match up with rotor.
Sounds like you either have the wrong wheel or something is missing. I'd give the guys at DNA a call, should be able to get you right. www.dnaspecialty.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwg8qzBhAoEiwAWagLrJlI0kFdxbd-QyHKPMDakJKxG-70g4M0iFb4Ea_wWKJeXau9YMBfvBoC5X4QAvD_BwE

2017 sir. Thanks for watching
i want to do this on my 1986 FXST custom, My original pegs being kinda awkward is killing my back on long riding positions.

I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for the heads up

Dude..take two small strips of emory cloth and put them underneath the top of the riser clamps on top of the bars, then chinch 'em down, old school. If they're still not tight enough, then take two more strips and put 'em underneath the bars.
That's how I grew up doing it too but didn't work for this bike. That's for the feedback. I think my risers were just not that great.
@@Mikeityourself Roger that.
Love the cars love this song
If you get a 6mm ball end nut (that the screw goes through), and mount it on the lower part of the front servo saver (the rod connecting to the servo), you get better response from the front wheels.
Ill give that a shot. Thanks
Awesome
Great video, Mike! Question: After a year or so now, do you think the extenders helped with the heat felt on the right side? What about the mid air deflector? Recently installed fork fangs on my heritage twin cam (to reduce buffeting) and they have been successful, though, I am experiencing a lot of felt heat on the right side and am looking for some ideas on how to alleviate this. Thanks!
These definitely helped especially in combo with the mid frame deflectors. I had heard that adding fangs or the other fork air deflectors would make the heat a little worse so avoided those. I did add lowers and when the vents are closed I do feel the heat a lot more too. Hope that help's. Bottom line for the cost of the extenders and mid frame, it's worth it.
Any bottoming out?
None at all sir. I was wondering if I would but been all good and the ride isn't stiff.
I put the progressives in with a 2 inch lowering. Nervous to put my fender back on. But it’s so much more comfortable with it back at a more level stance after adding the 21” wheel.
Let me know how it goes
I bought one of this to try for my sportsbike. Maybe your front tire is fatter, but mine is all floppy in the cradle. Even though the bike is stationary, it’s leaning so much I don’t trust it to stay in. Worried the tire bead would come off. Way too sketchy to even take it off the rear swingarm stand, much less to drive on
I hear ya. I only bought this for emergency use only, minimal travel on it.
Good deal. Thanks for sharing
Great review! Perfect way to avoid taking up the precious narrow space of saddle bags. Thank ya !
Thanks for watching
Bud, you totally installed the clutch side wrong. Why would you cut the piece off of the grip? It's supposed to go INTO the switch housing. 🤦♂️
I thought it did and did a lot of assessing, It doesn't. The one I pulled off did not as well. There is no room in the housing for the grip.
Going up there will be like going back in time to a wonderful time, and who knows how to know my father when he was a rebellious young man!!
So how are they holding up now? I'm considering buying some for a 06 fat boy I just bought but am seeing a couple reviews about the strength and quality of the metal.
I sold the bike about a year ago but up to that point I had no issues.
What all you get in kit do get cd to put on lap top . Or do have download .
The DSP just comes with the plugs and mounting screws. The software is downloaded from the site. Pretty easy deal, i was impressed. Spent a good amount of time learning about the individual settings but honestly most of it was just by ear.
