I've always believed compressed air engine's where a far more viable option than ev's and given the choice id have no issues backing compressed air.

I think Toyotas Lies are better than this one.

So an air engine is a gasoline engine that instead of dynamic braking like a battery hybrid it uses cylinders to compress air that can then assist on acceleration. Problem is gas engines are 14% efficient and is still the only power source in the vehicle. This lie is in competition with Toyota. Pie in the sky at best.

Hydrogen is terrible to try to use, expensive to handle, poor energy density. You can make engines BUT you can not fit enough fuel in the tank for any range (low energy density). This is a physics problem, not an engineering problem, there is no way to put a lot of green Hydrogen energy in a tank. It is about 1/18th the energy per volume as gas

The worst idea of the century: recharge an inefficient accumulator (you know the difference between adiabatic and isothermal cycles) with an inefficient compressor to power an inefficient engine! What a combo!!

Your car will be equipped with a giant flywheel in the center, and you will simply thread a huge, plastic serated rip cord to engage teeth on the flywheel. You will aggressively pull it out with one quick motion, jump in your car, and be on your way.

Hydrogen is NOT a fuel! Hydrogen is NOT found loose in nature. Its bonded to other elements. Say water, h2o, you have to put energy into the water to break the hydrogen free. This process includes a loss. Then you can burn the hydrogen in an ice vehicle at a loss. The net energy gain is negative! Its just a means of storing energy, thus a battery!

Currently I cannot see how hydrogen could be as cost effective as petroleum or Electric. I did see an article that Japan was able to produce Hydrogen as a by product of their research into future nuclear energy production. Apart from that I think it will remain high priced for a long time if not forever.

I'm actually pretty sceptical about the whole thing, a revolutionary cheaper invention that could literally change history and save the environment while making people less dependent on oil from the middle east, all of that thrown away and kept hidden by unidentified greater powers with loads of conspiracy theory in circulation?
