It was a great night and a packed house with Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson, and Jim Florentine. Our setlist celebrated over 4 decades of metal. It was an epic night and party. Dave Lombardo was mentally fast back in the day. I can't think of many modern fast drummers who don't name him as a major influence. You can hear the changes and the intensity of his playing so well on this video. Thanks for the upload!

To say that Slayer underestimated the value of Lombardo's drumming is an understatement. What the rest of the band does is great, but it's nothing that hasn't been done before. What Lombardo's doing however is phenomenal and pioneering. Nobody ever played drums like that before he did. He is the originator of that style and the perfectionist of that style.
