I am on day 3 and I have no changes or fat loss or even a change in weight. I started on Monday and its Wednesday ending now. I am on water fast with electrolytes. Why the hell am I not seeing the same results like you after 3 days? On Monday my weight was 66.6 kg and now it showed 66.8 kg. Forget losing. I gained 200 grams? Without any food in my body how the hell can I gain? What's wrong with me? And my belly was 87 cm before starting and still it is 87 right now. Even though I am doing heavy weight training. This is shocking. Can someone who has good knowledge explain what's wrong with me and my fasting?

I've been doing keto since Jan 1st, but 90% animal based foods, so I guess ketovore 🤔. It took me 2-3 weeks to get my body used to the lack of carbs, sugar and processed crap that I have been used to consuming for most of my life. The "mental clarity", and increased energy didn't come around until about week 3-4, but I'm also a person who normally gets about 5-6 hours of sleep on a really good day. I've definitely noticed a huge shift in energy, and I can't tell when I am nearing 16+ hours between meals. I've been obese my entire life, and was at around 350lbs when I started, in less than 6 months I've dropped 80lbs, went from a size 42 pants down to 38/36=, and shirts from a 4x/5x down to a 3x/2x. I don't feel restricted in my eating, and at first I did miss a lot of the foods I had been used to, but now even eating a bite of rice, or some fries I just don't feel the urge to over consume like I would in the past. My diet has been between 20-30 carbs a day, but usually less than 20. Sugar less than 10g, and fat and protein can vary wildly depending on the meat I'm eating that day. I know it's definitely not for everyone, and depending on the individuals activity levels. For me personally, at least until I get to the weight I'm aiming for (used to be 250), I can happily say that I'm perfectly happy with my current diet and eating habits.

Barefoot shoes give you cancer!
You can't expect anything in one week!!! The issues are definitely early on with sleep problems and cravings. Try it longer past the "initiation" period and add electrolytes, they'll help with sleep and any cramping. If you have health issues, it's worth it...

I need to develop my mental fortitude to do this, My record is 48 hours barely and that was like 3 weeks ago, I am trying it again and I am at 36 hours right now, 12 more hours to reach my personal record and goddamn its hard. I wish I had more will power.

Hey you got to drop a video on the change from being vegan.. the reason, the transition and how you feel training wise? How meal preps are now compared to before.. so much content can be made based on this new change in your life. Wish you much success on your journey.
I think the sardine fast was less enjoyable but yea this was pretty close. I did make a video on why I quit veganism but I could give an update if people were interested?

I don’t necessarily do keto I have carbs around training. But apart from that I’m super high fat. High protein zero sugar. And hand on heart. I’ve never felt so good ever. Been on this for over a year now. And I’ll never stop now. Awesome video man.
Yes, I definitely felt some cognitive benefits having high fat especially for breakfast so supplementing carbs around workouts could be the way to go.

For me I prefer an IIFYM approach. Just chasing a calorie and protein goal, with a degree of flexibility. However that being said, in terms of how I feel, I felt my absolute best with meat/eggs, fruit and a bit of honey but it's just not sustainable for me.
Oh I used to do IIFYM but would end up eating junk food once I hit my protein goal,so it wasn't good for me. Joe rogan keeps going on about meat, eggs and fruit though seeing how much I struggled with this I don' think I could stick to it.
@@PeteOnPurpose It's definitely tough to juggle the junk. One bad day and you can easily slip into bad habits. I think I (and many others) could probably only do the meat, eggs and fruit diet for a small amount of time, maybe a month max? I did it for two weeks and felt phenomenal.

When you wear these shoes you are Not closer to the earth. You are closer to a 15-inches man made hard block of steel and CONCRETE, which it is on top of the earth. (Grass, Sand, etc) Now wide toes shoes, yes it is a good idea!!!!
Why were you trying to lose weight? It has more benefits, especially for those like myself who tend to overeat even on carnivore

I wear barefoot shoes in the gym, no shoes when I can and Altras in the city or running

Thanks for the review. I really need to work on my mobility. I’m 33 years old but stiff everywhere. Desk job and weight lift training without any stretching when I was on my 20s for sure didn’t help. I had recently a breast augmentation surgery and I am surprised with how much mobility on my shoulders and chest I lost in just 3 weeks despite doing over the muscle. I’ll give it a try with pliability.
Starting a consistant mobility practise has been one of the best things I have done for my health, less aches and no injuries. (touch wood)

In the event that the Altra quality goes down. Try Topo Athletic. I've switched to Topo after seeing my Altra Escalante's wear out after like 4 months of intermediate use.
Question: Anybody else having difficulties with barefoot shoes due to body weight? I enjoy everything about bf shoes, but I'm still too heavy for the thin soles, causing me intense heel pain for at least a week after wearing them to the gym (what sucks for weightloss not being able to walk). My ideal shoe rn would be a shoe that's cut like a barefoot, but has a thick, flat sole with no drop, but since I can't find any I wear super wide toe box sneakers atm.
