I like automated defenses more but 90 mm flak cannon is insane
I hate automated defenses. In my previous colonies I used automated defenses solely and it made the game so boring. So I changed my rules and how I play. I only use man-operable weapons and humans to fight now. Having skin in the game makes it more enjoyable
What mod do you have that expands the mass that each pawn can carry?

No, the facilities each position has is for the comfort of the colonists especially for drawn out fights when they are stranded. They have places to sit, sleep, eat, relieve themselves, reload. Colonists reside in the base

It is a 1.3 world, and world gen has changed a bit, to get this map you have to go back to 1.3, generate the map there and then update. Id rather search for a boreal forest tile with mountains and a river if I were you

I would like to record more of my gameplay, but there are reasons I am not doing that more often. 1. I dont have much time to play 2. I dont have a good cpu, so when recording what I play, it overloads the cpu, video becomes botched and it makes the game unplayable. I am currently trying to get a new desktop, no promises. But my main limiting factor will still be my free time.

For some reason youtube deleted my comment Shell them use snipers to pick them out lure them out to your static defenses. Use all types of grenades effectively, especially smokes, use cover. Rifle cartridges work in general against below-centi levels. Employ lots of mg nests, that you can later on may or may not upgrade to AT guns and higher. Rifle calibers are effective always, especially 7.62 with miniguns.
@@bugrilyus so far i have tired shelling with HE but it is ineffective. I'm going to try incendiary and emp next time. I can make higher range sniper rifles now so maybe that is the play.
@@sei_asagiri emp should contact first then the napalm shell, try to use a 15+ shooting spotter. and yes dont use HE shells against mechs, it is useless

Really interesting! Totally impressed with the tactics with the two pyros. The firefoam grenade to cover the melee pawn's advance through to flames was genius. I saw that you marked the sightlines for your manned turrets too, great idea!
Thank you for the praise, but that firefoam grenade where the two pyromanicas were cornering the diabolus was for its chip to not get damaged from fire, hehe. Yes I try to draw the LoS limit for my emplacements, it helps when you are really occupied

It is not even a channel, ıt is my personal account. I just share the stuff happening in my own save, and I rarely get notifications so I see something when it happens. Im not going out my way to give everyone hearts by checking my videos everyday
CE is my favorite mod in the game right now and I wish I had used it earlier. I was tired of seeing awful quality autopistols piercing troughth my masterwork marine armor and and raiders surviving literally bullets piercing troughth their heart. The thing that kept me away from using CE is that I feared the it being incompatible with my mod list, turns out it was compatible with most mods besides around 5 mods. So yeah, CE is great and I am thankful that the devs made patches for mods like Vanilla Expanded, Rimfiller etc.

This is Combat Extended. the mod tries to portray combat realism. There is napalm in the mod, when you soak the mechs in napalm, napalm burning creates heat and this heat is conducted inside and this damage their circuitry and structure.

both, I enjoy fighting with mechs and using melee when doing it, I have other videos of my colony. You can check them out to see how I play.
in my opinoon, centipedes are way to op but everything else is okay to deal with properly. whenever a centipede even fires once, at least one pawn dies or gets downed and dies an hour later. yeah, im sure im not fighting them properly and should be extra aware when they're around and micro manage everything better, but imo i shouldnt have to and i just get angry whenever they come, so i just turn off mechs most of the time.

@HuNtEr King In the assign tab disable Attack as the danger response, left hand side. By default in CE it's disabled, idk why Zombieland enables it
