Hello everybody. The 4506 had already been sold by the time I got around to posting this video. I was glad I finally got around to posting it, but even more, glad I got around to shooting it one last time. It had been several years since I shot this gun, so I needed to make a few sight adjustments. has a new owner now. I hope they shoot it more than I did.

How I Greatly Improved My CZ P 10 F

As good of a good as the CZ P-10 F is, I found a few issues with it that didn't sit well with me. Overall the gun is great; a 9 out of 10 in my opinion. Well, this is the fourth gun from my collection that I've decided to move on from. This Taurus 689VR is actually a gun I bought about 5 years ago to replace the previous one I sold. That was the first handgun I'd ever bought. I kept that gun for close to 30 years. It is a really rugged gun and good shooter.

In spite of this being a very budget-friendly, it performs like a much more expensive gun. My first shoot incorporate 300 rounds of CCI Blazer Brass 115 gr FMJ ammo. Everything went well. No hiccups or issues whatsoever. And I was pleased with the gun and my accuracy; especially being my first time shooting it.
Canik TP9SF Bench Top Review

This is an open case review of an above average striker-fired handgun by Canik. The TP9SF is a budget-priced gun, that has non-budget features. I was amazed at it's quality build, fit and finish for such a low price.

This is my personal opinion of the Walther PDP 4.5" Full-size after shooting it for the first time. My first shoot was 300 rounds of Winchester White Box 115 and 124 grain FMJ ammo. The gun and the ammo performed flawlessly. I can honestly say that I am very impressed with this gun, and it did live up to all of the hype I'd read and seen on video.

Yours is a BEAUTIFUL 2.5" piece. I own a 3" 7-shot 686+ Talo Edition with non-fluted cylinder, a 4" 586-4 and a 6" 586 -8. My 3" is a daily carry. These are easily the best .357 handguns in mass production. I'll never be without a L-frame.
As long as the lock has no reliability issues I agree no big deal.

Just bought mine I haven’t taken it to the range yet but I’m kinda wishing I would’ve paid the extra 120 and got the mette hopefully I don’t regret going the more budget option lol one thing I will say is that the one I got has extra white dots on it but I also got a "special" black camo design so maybe that’s part of it

I have a 66-1 that doesn't have a pinned barrel but does have the recessed cylinder. It also has the smaller S&W logo on the left side under the cylinder release.

Great videos on S&W wheel guns but I have a confusing question, when they started manufacturing the 44 Magnum with a full length under barrel rib they used the 629 as model number, then the classic hunter and possibly others, can you break down the differences?

That is a beautiful gun. I just started looking for a 686 Plus
I like the S&W finish better so I like to use 400 grit sand paper for major scratches and then finish off with a scotch bright pad and never dull. It gives the gun a nice uniform brushed stainless look instead of the polished look which takes a lot longer to do.

I remember something about the Model 57 that a trusted friend told me, and he was informed by his gunsmith buddy, that's that both the Model 29 and the Model 57 barrels have the same outside diameter. I don't remember if the cylinders are the same dimensions (of course, the individual chambers are bored .44 caliber and .41 caliber) But theoretically, that gives you thicker, therefore sturdier barrel and cylinder walls. Anyway, my friend loves his, and doesn't want to part with it. He's developed his own pet loads for it over the decades.
Which one is best? "Buy one of each." That put a smile on my face. Good answer.
