As an alltime RAAS player would love to see a video done about the macro concepts.

This games optimisation is so bad. Specs: -Ryzen 5 7600 -RTX 4060 Ti 8GB Vram -32 GB DDR5 Ram When i enter a match i get 110 fps which i capped it at and after a while it drops to 80-90 and opening the map lowers it to around 60-70. My pc doesnt turn into an oven but it certainly turns into an airplane.

Came across you in game while you were playing on my home server (7th Rangers Quick Silver) here is my feedback. 1.) 6:30 I agree the number of different playstyles I've seen in my 1.2k hours is a crazy amount. 2.) 6:51 This is funny, during sales especially, the entire squad community seems to have a brain aneurysm and it takes a while for those new players to either learn or leave. 3.) 7:15 The biggest difference I see between Comp vs Pub is the amount of QUALITY communication. Which brings me to my point that one of squad's core components is all about that communication. 4.) 10:55 Not a big note, just that the "Just stand up and run" command was definitely a sign this was a pub match haha. 5.) 11:20 I feel like this is often left out of most "standard" squad guides, moral, even if this is a video game, is still mightily important. I know I just leave a squad if the SL is a D***. 6.) 11:30 Another one of those "Communication & information is important!" 7.) 12:11 Gotta disagree with this one. I believe that the "mini-map" is currently in a decent standing. Although it isn't that "realistic mil-sim" deliciousness, I don't think Squad was ever meant to fill that market. That's what Arma 3 is for. Squad (imo) is meant to be that middle ground between Battlefield and Arma, although I do want some more game rules for server owner's to mess with so that there is that option for more "realistic" gameplay. 8.) 12:50 There's the "communication & information" aspect again, very good. 9.) 13:20 This is a good point that even I forget sometimes but identify with. There is a certain player that has made the 7th their home server and constantly picks up commander but I will never run with them because they make some outrageously dumb plays, plus his personality isn't something I get along with. 10.) 13:45 Good general advice, always ask questions if unsure even now I sometimes ask other SLs I know are experienced for their advice where to place a Radio or something along those lines when a situation is a little fuzzy. edit: Why not put ppl in a Charlie Fire Team that way 3 ppl can place down marks in the squad that way more information is being published? Overview: Very good video. I like the constant breakdowns and enjoyed the video overall and hope to run into you on the 7th Rangers server again sometime, stop by the discord if you ever want to organize a squad pre-match or just say hi.

The ico was a definitely fun change of pace for the game, but I honestly hope it doesn’t go as far down the realism path. I’ve played boat loads of shooters and have the flexibility to accept other styles and find the merits in their systems, so I look at changes purely from a mechanical perspective, and can see the benefits of how the weapon ready times makes it more of a preparation heavy gameplay loop, and can enjoy the game with that in mind, playing it like it’s wargame red dragon. Suppression is an actual thing now, splitting into fireteams to hold angles is more important, vehicle usage too. Been playing squad since 2016 and I still love it. But there’s a point where it feels a little too much. Adding so much more sway, rng systems and making it impossible to move at all during engagements might just be a tad too far where I might end up steering away from it, which I really don’t want to do. The game’s been slow down a tonne and I’ve managed to learn its new gameplay loops, but removing any ability to move, control aim, and delegating every gunplay system to be rng based with no consistency or control would just feel a bit too far. You already have to ready up for a long while, but If you’d be unable to move or change aim angle at all it would feel like a complete standstill What would it be about these changes that you’d be excited for the most? How would it change the game to make it more fun for you? Curious to hear as it’s a direction I’ve not heard before.

is there any fix to the terrible scope quality with dlss enabled? cant seem to find one. i get 140fps with upscale mode set to NVIDADLSS but dlss mode off (forced off) when i set Prioritize Clarity In Scopes. Its just not worth running dlss if the game looks like a 2001 fps potato anytime you look through any scope

The game has a desastrous optimization, with a rtx 4060 and a ryzen 7 i was getting between 35 and 60 fps using only a 25% of the graphic card and cpu, with this config i was able to get between 65 (on the most stressful moments) and 90 and at last the game is playable. Thank you.
