I love Nadine and all the LL products. Nothing compares. They're a bit expensive here in Australia, but I haven't found anything else better yet
I also love the gowns, but only for at night. And when super newborn. I saw those little sleepies, too and they look so good! I got enough gifts to last me until 3 sizes up, though so ill need to see if I'm ever running short on clothes to splurge on those
So interesting and helpful! Thanks Ann 😊
Yaaaay! Thanks, Marie! Just a jumping off point. :) So glad that you enjoyed.
Just looking at a vegan and you can tell that they are killing themselves. They all look so sickly.
Nice tips! Do you have any recipes you like to add them to?
Thank you! ❤ I share a lot of ideas in the full video this short is linked to! (Otherwise, Rainbow Plant Life does a great job.)
I had 2 stroke I am insulin resistance I work on my body tonlower my sugar I got it down a smidgen but doctor didn't seem to care jump on next thing cholesterol it was high also blood pressure. Not offering my a choice to go holistic food choice way he next thing ran to write a high dose drug statin my husband was on statin for 30 years plus other pills didn't help him he died 2020 not going out that way so looking deeper into the holistic way 😊Ronnie Lynn from Pennsylvania
I recently came across the theory that mouth bacteria and gut bacteria are one and the same (which makes sense, all part of digestive system) and so you need to take care of both together, and that xylitol is good for mouth bacteria - have you heard anything about this, or what do you think as a nutritionist? From personal experience I had toothache while pregnant then started taking an iron mouth-spray supplement, which just happened to contain xylitol, and my tooth issue went away... so I feel like that is what helped and I accidentally sorted it out :)
Great tips, especially which are prebiotic and probiotic foods. Just going to say something speculatively from personal experience... I could not get a well gut balance as a teen, and on and off into my early twenties. My GP said my vegan diet was harming me, so I integrated things they advised like eggs, but nothing improved. I'd been taking The Pill for acne at a young age, though it didn't help and GP said I needed to take it for longer than 6 months to see improvements, which didn't happen, then they put me on different hormone pills across years... 9 different ones that all didn't help! I had said I felt like the pill made my tummy awful, like IBS symptoms, and they said that couldn't be the cause. Eventually after 9 years of mostly taking the pill I just felt I really needed a break, so I stopped it, and my gut was much better, and my whole body felt more well. I was then tentatively shifting back to veganism to see how it was.. and I felt even better then! :) I put this partly down to similar synthetic hormones existing in animals, and partly down to the increase in nuts and seeds and fibre in general once going 100% plant-based again. That was more than a decade ago and it's consistently solved all my body issues :) I had balance on the pill too, and that left when going vegan, before it was just puberty. Now these synthetic hormones were obviously something that didn't suit my body and they might be ok for someone else, but if it's something that anyone's not looked at that could be a factor, it might be worth seeing how your body feels without the pill / animals. I've read that because synthetic hormones are so widely used they are in our drinking water, and I haven't tried this but know people who use a water distiller on all their water before drinking or cooking, which removes hormones and microplastics, chlorine and whatever chemicals so you've got literally just water, and after distilling there is a big thick tar-like goo at the bottom of the machine showing all the stuff that was in there. Another option might be bottled spring water, as I don't know exactly how much hormones get into everything, although I read they're in the rain and rivers etc. Has anyone else heard of this? Sorry I touched into a few side topics there, as you said there can be so many rabbit holes! but I hope that helps someone who's stuck wondering what's going on.

Will your course be a good fit for those who have histamine issues? Fermented foods make me feel worse.
Hi Jasminetea. It's not my course, but it's the school where I did my nutrition studies! I am sure that the course would help you to get to the bottom of your histamine issues, but the best idea would be to call the admissions office and ask for sure! Maybe there's another course that they would recommend instead. They're super friendly. 8:46 Great informative video, but this is where you lost me, calling any dietary regime that is not vegan “dubious”. Or that you wouldn’t necessarily adhere to it if you had a client whose dietary regime includes animal products..which I find odd because in the beginning you note bio individuality. This implies that you understand there's no one-size-fits-all approach to health and nutrition. Hopefully i’m misunderstanding you here, but otherwise I enjoyed the video, with the exception being that comment. We’re all unique in our biological makeup and requirements - there is space for all.
Really Informative Content As a CZcamsr Mentor, how can I support your content to spread around the world?
Ann, your little one is such a cutie! I'm sure they both are. Great tips! I have a little 3 shelf wheely thing, that I manoeuvre around our flat with me (we're on one floor) with my toes! It has all of mine and bubs' gear, including a kind of self-care washbag :) We love to dance and sing, so we improve moments like when I'm cooking or cleaning by dancing and singing at the same time, and the bubs (3 months old) coos, giggles and kicks his legs - joining in as much as he can, and I make sure he feels involved by stroking over him with the dance moves :) My partner is a sound therapist, and I can confirm there is so much that sound can do for us, even just our own voice. For example the note of E can improve memory (studies have been done if you search, that explain how) and my partner has a hardpan and a gong tuned to E that he plays at sessions for dementia. It sounds magical, but its just nature and biology. I believe our intuition helps us to choose to listen to the things we need to hear :)
I always learn from your comments! Thank you, so much, Ann Cat! I love the idea of different musical notes having a different affect on our body -- so fascinating. I love that you, too, do singing and dancing -- it's so important to my well-being, I'll tell you that. 💕 Thanks so much for being here!
Happy Mother's Day to all my lovely mamas out there! 💕
Even herbivores eat small rodents and birds for extra protein if its available.
Hey, friend! Are YOU eating too much protein?!
Merci 😊
did you know that your still technically eating meat when you eat plants, animal dna has transferred to that plant when it walked past it
I love meat and meat loves me. I love eating meat. Meat is so delicious
Being vegan/vegetarian is all about making yourself feel better🤷🏽♂️🤣not eating meat does nothing to stop meat consumption or the bad treatment of animals…it’s all about feeling morally superior🤷🏽♂️😭
By definition, going vegan affects meat consumption 😅. Did you think before typing this?😂
Would love to hear from you! What are YOUR absolute necessities, friends?
Hey friends! Here's how to bite the bullet and still keep your friends. :) It depends on your personality, of course!
I love this! Can I add for my peeps sensitive to soy, legumes, and nightshades... My fam makes these substitutions: - dried beans bc soaking helps with gut stuff - coconut aminos sub for soy - dried roasted nightshades in your favorite oils so you're storing the flavor in a healthy fat Do you have more suggestions?
Great ideas! 💡 Thanks so much for sharing these.
@@VeggieMagnifique awe, thanks. If you have more I'm all ears!
What's your "personal why" for getting better sleep?
Great tips, especially the first one. If I ever have a second baby, I will totally buy these and simplify my life. Dressing my first one was fun and I was happy/had time. Not anymore 😂
Riiiiiight?! WHERE does the time go. Haha! (Thanks for your comment.)
I just had my fourth and still enjoy and make time to dress up my baby! I don't do 3 piece sets though, only one pieces. Cute and comfy is not a contradiction
Expecting baby 3, but this video is SPOT ON.
SO happy to hear that you agree! Thanks for telling me so. (And CONGRATS on your third! ❤)

How is it navigating eating out as a vegan where you live?
What’s your fave vegan-able cuisine, friends?!
I was followed by an obgyn my whole pregnancy, that’s what I was most comfortable with but I take everything they say with a grain of salt. I ended up needed a csection at 39 weeks and they had me all worried my daughter was going to be small. 7lbs 2oz and completely healthy and perfect ❤
Right?! They love to tell you your baby's going to be small... I am SO glad to hear that your daughter was completely healthy and perfect. 💕 And that's wonderful that were able to go with the route that you were comfortable with, but with a healthy skepticism! Hope your c-section recovery has been/was speedy. Thanks so much for your comment!!
Can you share your playlist for birth?
Thanks Ann :) Your home must be so lovely <3 we have a small flat and it's descended to the level of thrift shop stock room :) but it's worth it, we love our bubs! Thoroughly backup recommendation of Silverette, got me through first few weeks or else I'd have been miserable - can really tell the difference if you spend a few hours forgetting to put them back in! Now a few months in I don't need them on the regular, but like knowing they're there. We love baby wearing, we haven't used our pram/stroller! It's heavy, bulky and annoying, baby likes to be up in wrap if sleepy or freehold and turning and kicking :) We were told to get lots of sleep suits by everyone, and did. Well, the ones with feet in haven't worked for us because our bubs appears to be long and slim and the legs are way too short before the width anywhere near fits, so the ones without feet have been the only ones we can use, and I imagine give a much more flexible fit for all babies and last longer as they grow.
You're hilarious. And right! I used to be all about the ones with feet because I wanted their little toesies to be warm and yet it can be so limiting! And here's to babywearing, silverettes, and a cozy bubs-filled home! (And thanks... our home is small but mighty. We're doing everything we can to NOT burst at the seams.... 😅) Thanks so much for your comments!
This is very helpful. Thank you!
I'm so glad that it was helpful! Thank you for telling me so! 💕
Baby #2 is on his/her way! We're not doing a baby registry lol we have everything we need (as far as I know) saved since our first baby.
Congratulations!!!! So glad that you have all you need. Wishing you a beautiful pregnancy and inspiring birth.

I always love your raw honesty, Ann! I was thrilled to have run into you yesterday. I'm really sad to hear that the membership didn't take off. Business ideas can be hit or miss and every successful person has their failures before finding the big score. On the topic of the birth, I'm so proud of you, love you, and you will always be capable of doing hard things. Life is such a wild ride sometimes. I love to hear your perspective. Many miracles and I agree that not knowing can be better than knowing oftentimes. We live in times of stats and overwhelming amount of data. We tend to get glimpses into everything. But ultrasounds are the be all end all....as you saw with the weight estimate. This was a real learning, and growth journey indeed. I feel that way about many of my own births....I grew so much. Thanks for sharing <3
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, K, and thanks for watching me video. 💕 I truly appreciate it! Yes, life is funny. So many wins, so many losses. And yes yes yes, so much growth (and gratitude!) I'm a different person. So much love back to you. And SO delightful to run into you the other day!!!!!
I noticed that your channel has fewer subscribers and fewer views. You should optimize your CZcams channel and videos to be perfectly SEO-friendly, and then you can grow on CZcams
The cookies look delicious. I made a tahini cake one time and ate it in 2/3 days! I would love some breakfast ideas, especially for toddlers. Thank you!
Oooh, a tahini cake. Sounds sooooo good. And noted for the breakfast ideas for toddlers! Thanks for the idea!
17 months and still breastfeeding. Not as hungry as the beginning but I love to eat variety too. Today, I ate: Oatmeal/overnight oats, seeds, pb and raspberries, pasta with roasted veggies (tahini + nooch) and tofu and then fruits, dates, 90% dark chocolate for snacks. For dinner I ate black been tacos with cucumber salad and soy yogurt sauce. My son ate the exact sams thing.
Oh my goodness, your meals sound AMAZING! I want to come to YOUR place. (I love that you're on Team Tahini.) 💕 Thanks so much for watching and sharing your delicious meal plan.
I’m eating so much toast with chia seed jam - yum! Or humous 🌝 Your chana masala looks like the real deal, great tips ❤ I’ve been making chocolate pots: 2 ripe bananas, avocado, coconut cream, couple dates, lots of cacao powder - blend till very smooth, pop in mugs, set in fridge for as long as you can wait 🌝 I want to make your cookies once our bubs settles for longer without needing physical contact with me. He’s just 6 weeks old, we’re very snuggly! 👶🌝💛✨
I hope you enjoyed today's video. Let me know if you try any of these recipes or share some of your own! Extra points if they contain galactagogues!
Excellent video 😍. You make me giggle! Miss you. What do you think of those powdered mushroom drinks that are supposed to be a hormone-healthy replacement for coffee?
Thank you, Chloe-douuuuu! I MISS YOU. I say "yes!" to the adaptogen/mushroomy drinks! I'm not an expert but it seems the more you can get them in (either in a drink, or elsewhere,) the better! 💕💕💕
