Essentialism - Calvin Tsao 曹慰祖
“We have to understand the ‘we’ in the ‘I,’ so we can be a better ‘I’ to the ‘we.’"
Calvin Tsao 曹慰祖
Architect
In his roles at Tsao & McKown and Octave, Calvin Tsao seeks to create buildings and environments that actively participate in their ever-changing contexts. Through a synthesis of science and philosophy, design and culture, technology and ecology, business and non-profit sectors, he forges a multidisciplinary approach to architecture and development that works toward a harmonious, purposeful, and sustainable society.
This wealth of inspiration informs what Calvin believes to be a central purpose of architecture: to create physical spaces that provide utility and shape psychologies, behaviors, and values. The functions and forms of architecture constantly rebalance according to the needs, identities, and contexts that shape our dynamic world - past, present, and future.

I think i figured it out coach
Sorry to say that Richard, but I find it very disturbing how you were interrupting Kobe when he was trying to speak. Otherwise cool interview
Kobe's insight and wisdom is profound. The interviewer's ramblings are dam annoying. The interview done by Patrick Bet-David on Valuetainment is gold because he allowed him to speak without interrupting. Here's the interview I am referring to: czcams.com/video/T9GvDekiJ9c/video.htmlsi=vn9mWVkMHnfjKRoh
!!!🔥ALWAYS MOTIVATIONAL🔥!!!
MAMBA💥🔥💣🖤🏀MENTALITY......Extends FROM.....JORDAN.....
王博士的保护中国老建筑物的精神、付出、及他的妻子是何等的坚毅、敢说、敢为。与中国党的各种会议100%😊,而结果又是如此😢😊,他们愧疚啊!
The interviewer was lack luster

I searched for this interview alot thank you so much for posting
bruh such a bad interviewer
interviewer talks too much. let the star talk man!
Kobe's game is as exciting as art, and his spirit of never giving up is worth learning from!
Kobe Bryant and his Mamba Mentality lessons have taught me....if I have the right mindset and a strong work ethic, I can change my future for the better!
Thank you for your life Kobe. I had a dream about him and that dream made me do some research on him beyond basketball and that helped me in dirt and dark place I was in. I realized it’s ok to be in that dark place as long as you’re working hard on yourself to get out. There will be pain but you have to find a way to bare that pain. You work on yourself the same way you do at any craft you want to master. You must master yourself, that’s the most important mastery of all. Thats the hero’s journey. That’s the message I got. I hope I can learn more so I can find more tools to get out into the light. That will be my win, my own personal 5,6,7 championship rings. Thank you for your life 🙏
Is that genetic ?!?😂😂😂😂😂😂 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. I like the host he’s like bro you different, muahfuckers outchea ain’t like you bro. But anyone can apply his knowledge.
Thank you Kobe for being a source of inspiration and a role model to so many generations <3 your legacy will never die. Mamba Forever
This person has no idea how to listen. LET KOBE SPEAK. interrupting him every other word. Annoying
I love how calm he is and how he embodies stillness. He has a dream mindset. It’s like every effort he makes is done because it makes sense to him that this is what he has to do in order to become the best player in the world so he does it. Non negotiable. It’s had but it’s simple.
R.i.p i missed so much you were GOT
i will inspire people like how you inspired to me become the greatest of all time
32:48 😢😢😢
I just watched a Chinese guy have an orgasm for 42 minutes
The host fucking sucks, holy shit
He's number 24 this video 42 backwards I'm I tweekin
The interviewer is interrupting too much, Kobe has to control his frustration. Such a awful way of taking interview of any legend.
for real, it’s bothering me too. I respect Kobe’s patience
13:59 Benefits Working out at 4am/Working out more 29:29 Dealing with his Achilles injury
What a story book ending to start your career playing the Utah jazz and to finish your career playing the same team with 60 points
谢谢王澍

Crazy to think the people in the audience are the same ones who think Taiwan isn't a country
Wow this speech of Kobe is really unhealthy advise for the most part if you look at it from a mental health standpoint or if you consider that humans have souls. There are a few gold nuggets in there like do what you love for example.
I have so much peace in my heart because I know that my father knew how to meditate before he passed away about a year ago! This is the way he says if I ever want to see him that's where I'll meet him in the place of meditation what a very beautiful thing I have much peace with that and I do understand what it means
Life is tired when you live within your dream, make it works, your imagination will happen once you adapt yourself well enough. You're amazing and special. I've found this video really inspiration, I hope you like it too💯👍: czcams.com/video/B2ghsgKleY4/video.html💯❤️
The interviewer sucks
1:11 It's a vagina. it looks like a freakin' vagina.
The host is irritating.
This host makes some dumb comments and questions
5:25-5:56 Confidence comes from preparation 6:35 -8:18-What is Mamba Mentality? 5 pillars of Mamba Mentality 1) Being Passionate 2)Being Obsessive 3) Being Relentless 4)Being Resilient 5) Being Fearless 8:56-10:04-Meaning of Passion for Kobe Bryant 13:21:Be Obsessive 14:21-What to do when you want to be the greatest in you field.
What a pathetic interviewer constantly cutting Kobe off. As if people were there to listen to him talking.

I listened to this the night before he died. This is my first time listening to it since.

It's so weird that none of you seem to remember the S. Assaults (I can't actually spell it out because there's a chance that the authoritarians here at CZcams will censor my comment. No, it's not guaranteed, but I'm not going to risk it anyway) that he also inflicted on innocent young girls.... I know.... They were "lying", right?? They were just after money, is that it?? You're probably truly angry right now.... How dare I say that? Right? How dare I speak poorly of the dead?! Well, I certainly don't think anyone needs to go out of their way to disrespect anyone who's passed away, that's for sure. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter what the person has done, blatant disrespect doesn't accomplish anything.... But I'm NOT "disrespecting" him by reminding YOU conveniently forgetful people that this "legend" has also committed some pretty vile crimes against some pretty innocent people. You can say whatever you want about me. You can deny whatever you want about Kobe. It still won't change the reality of the situation. NOTHING will EVER make it so that YOU are right, and I AM wrong LOL. You are praising a S. Assaulter. Period.
