@@segwayontario the app only shows light effect, energy recovery, cruise control switch, imperial/metric system switch, allow other users to connect to this vehicle switch. keep in mind it is a US model but thats the least restricted one

It’s not that it will break. Rather, if you choose to ride in the rain, make sure all your nuts/bolts and ports are tightened and closed up, go at a reasonable speed, obey all traffic rules in your local jurisdiction, and watch out for pedestrians. If the tiniest speck of water gets inside the battery compartment on your Segway-Ninebot device, then you’ll most likely be in trouble (those parts should be kept dry at all times). Just FYI. According to Segway-Ninebot, the manufacturer, new firmware on the MAX G2 has patched up outstanding overheating and charging issues when it was first released last year. With the being said, we’d still recommend waiting some time before plugging in your device shortly after riding it. Hope this helps! - Mikey

Great question! The advertised top speed of the Segway-Ninebot MAX G2 in North America is 35 kph. However, the top speed differs from country to country outside of Canada and the U.S., based on local jurisdictions. Hope this helps! :) - Mikey

Good question! According to Segway-Ninebot, the manufacturer, there’s a common flaw with the rear fender on the MAX G2. Most riders seem to point out a flapping noise from that area every time they ride (you’re not the only one). It could be the bearings (these usually need to be replaced every 1-2 years, depending on how often and forcefully you ride your scooter)… Though, it may be best contacting our service dept at service@segwayofontario.com or calling us directly at 416-642-0096, so we can help you out a bit better. 👍 - Mikey

It only has turn signals, a headlight (standard with all Segway-Ninebot scooters) and a brake light. - Mikey

Yes, if you only had one lock along the stem of your scooter. But then again, it all depends on the situation, the potential thief/thieves, how many locks are securing your device, and which parts of the scooter your locks are tied to. - Mikey

@segwayontario I didn't modify the serial number. I turned on higher speed in S mode, and it raised the speed. My serial number is still O2GVE to this day😁
