I can relate to so much of what you are saying!! The grief of our former selves is a beautiful turning point. I too often travel solo and enjoy it. I went on a Mediterranean cruise in October and got to visit several stops in Italy, Turkey, and Greece- Athens, Mykonos, Santorini! So healing! Wow, this sounds so similar to what I went through. Divorce, grieving, healing, job-quitting, family issues, setting boundaries, leaving the US to move to an island, social media break, coming back, etc. It's definitely not a linear journey. You will shed your old self, but find a beautiful new one in the process. Congrats to you for staying sane and plunging through. I know the fortitude and guts it takes to walk this journey. Praying for God's blessing and best on your path!
