Most taskforces dependent on AT you can solo/duo ok, there are a few you can't, but as a friend and I do this all the time, plus you can do most of them in under an hour, heck, we did a mad dash once of 4 Yin in an hour as he had an hour spare when it was the weekly. People fixating on needing 8 to go is a problem, certainly a couple, MLTF and LRSF for example, kind of demand it but most, the TF Cmdr ones, dont need anywhere near it. For CoH the HC server is way more populated than the others, by a factor of 10 or mmore to the nearest one, Rebirth, which whilst it has some nice innovation it lacks the QoL enhancements of HC and seems to have developed a ideological slant these days

I'd recomend trying the other servers. Homecoming is not designed well at all and their balance changes show that. Give Rebirth or Thunderspy a look. They're much more stable and have content closer to how CoH should be.

I had the same situation on Reunion back when I played on the server years ago, and ended up moving to Excelsior and it's a whole different world filled with plenty of things to do and run <3 I hope you find what's right for you to do though hun!

a lot of the reason a massive amount of my friends left was it's frustrating to solo some content and late at night which is when we all play but at various times , it's dead. Modern games give us the option to solo everything, a good example is swtor, soloing everything pretty much but pvp. Most of us like soloing or douing, kind of a younger generation than the other people I met in game are. Another reason was no new costume pieces. At least 70+ people in our specific discord went to one of the other coh servers for costume pieces and new powersets. Hopefully Homecoming does something in the future because it felt the most professionally run, but pro games also release things, even modders for numerous games I play release new things on nexusmods. I'm mostly in other games now too.

helpful hint for you and others running this arc. the bosses in mission 2 always make a little speech when you approach. kill that mob

3 or 4 years ago when I was playing regularly, I would take 20 - 30 min every day to do this. Made multiple billions before I took a break from the game. Just recently picked it back up after the news about it being officially licensed perked my interest again. Nice to see that it still works the same

Tankers also have 90% resist cap, but they have more HPs.

i don't have 10s or 100s of millions of influence to burn through so i buy DOs until i hit level 22. i then start to craft lvl 25 IOs. at that point i can trade in merits for the enhancement converters or boosters if i need to buy crafting material from the auction house. i won't look into sets until i'm able to slot lvl 50 enhancements.

It's been ten years since I played this last, Great to see it back. Thanks for the videos very helpful for new and returning players.

I'm noticing a lot of players not realizing they have access to two character builds. You could do a short vid showing off how to access your second build , and why you might want to use them. 1 optimized for high lvl content, 1 optimized for exemplaring , or for pvp, or just for fun etc.

I only reached 50 last week with an elec/elec def (alt-aholic, love shiny new characters *shrug*), so I don’t have any experience with lvl 50 content. What would be my goal when I finally create incarnates? Plug defences/resists so I’m less squishy? Boost my support powers so I defend harder/better/faster/stronger? Is there room to do all the things with the six different slots?

One thing to remember about water is the mechanic ( Tidal ) which empowers certain powers ( orange circle indicates which ones and that they are currently empowered ) This boosts damage. A quick way to build tidal is to lay down whirlpool and a few single target pops will usually be enough. Most of the abilities have decently short timers. I find I can cast several whirlpools in an average fight. My main is a Water Blaster :) I went fire as the secondary because fire, amirite?

This is a good video, thanks for showing your technique! In the future, it would be nice from the audience's perspective if you come back later that night or next day and show that the items have actually sold in the AH and show the actual profit, seeing is believing!

The easiest way to make money (INF) as a New Character in COH/COV is to be Level 50. Buy up a whole play session worth of X2 XP Buffs from the S.T.A.R.T. (P2W) Vendor (you will not make INF). Run 4-5 "Death from Below" Trials to get the Power Buffs, and then get on the Task Force Train. A day or two at L50 running Weekly Strike Force (double Merit Bonus) plus an iTrial or 2, and you'll be 50+ Million INF (possibly 100M even). I usually don't worry too much about optimizing powers until I'm 50. Also, jump on Zone Events: Rikti Invasion, Zombie, and Nemesis. Attuned Enhancements bought with Merits are your friend. Take some time to get at least one Exploration Badge in each Zone to unlock it in the Long Range Teleporter. Ignore all this if you plan to run level specific content... lol.

I have 7 lvl 50s and I am working on my rad/martial combat blaster’s build on everlasting which is completely oped I love this game always will be my very first mmo game during live on the freedom server

I hate this game. I hate feeling weak. I hate doing everything I was supposed to yet still feeling weak. I have no control in my personal life and I can't even get any control in a virtual world even after taking all the advice of others and doing what I was supposed to. I hate being punished for no reason despite all my efforts.
