RIP Joey, Dee Dee and Arturo. Still so sad. Joey and Dee Dee were such unique humans. I mean so was Arturo. Such characters and added so much to music and the punk scene. I freaking love the Ramones. Btw also love the Grateful Dead. Funny joeys comment about dead fans turning away to like them. But I’m only 43. I did get to see the Ramones on their final tour. One of the coolest concerts I’ve ever been to. Even on that tour that sounded great still.

This is a great video thanks for posting this on CZcams for us to watch, I didn’t even know that this video existed but I’m sure glad that I found it that’s for sure. In my opinion punk started with the Velvet Underground and the only person who made money from the Sex Pistols was their manager Malcom McClaron or however his name is spelt, he robbed the Pistols out of every penny that they made, let’s have it, and if they hadn’t of gotten rid of their bass guitarist Glen Matlock for Sid then I think that Pistols would’ve done a lot more as a band, but it never made any sense why they sacked Glen and brought another guy in who couldn’t even play a instrument especially bass guitar, it didn’t make sense back then and it still doesn’t make sense now.

I think Nancy reaped what she sowed....violence. She threatened people with violence for years, if she didn't get her way. Then, she reaped violence by being stabbed to death. It's tragic that the pair ended up the way they did though. I always preferred their ending in the movie, "Sid & Nancy", where the beautiful, serene, happy spirit of Nancy comes for Sid in a taxi, and they drive off into eternity in each other's arms. Later Sid got involved with Nancy Spungden, a groupie /heroin addict who got him addicted to smack. Despite his punk image, he was a shy young man. His close friend and ex Sex Pistols band mate, John Lydon (Johnny Rotten), said that there was a vulnerability about Sid and referred to.him as being a "gentle soul". Sid died way too young.

People victimize Sid and its disgusting, the dude was abusive and hit Nancy regularly until he finally got so enraged from a fight he stabbed her to death.. Nancy was just so crazy and full of heroin she couldn't help herself in the end. They are both two crazy kids of the night who were meant for eachother.
