Genius
Doesn't work
My concern is you leader / tippet is shot with a big wrinkle in the line…..throwing away too much leader/ tippet.
That has happened to me on the Ruby too a couple of times but long ago about 1960.Great river!
Thanks I'm going fishing in the Smoky mountain in May. Great looking fly 👍
There is hope, after all...
nice .I like and I will tie it Ron. thanks. Know this is a 4 yr.old video hope your still with us. Ken
This is the best blood knot demo yet. Thanks!
Super sweet find! Worked excellent first go at it! Will be my go to on the water if needed. Thank you!
just came across this fly very nice tie
The best way to tie this knot, no doubt. Thanks for sharing 👍
Beautiful fly! Nice video!
dumb idea go back to the drawing board WHY? Adding that much glue will sink that fly.👎
Nerf gun bullet cutoff is a good idea. I have used the whole bullet on a spinning rod for pan fish.
Nice!
Secret? Dude, it's a prince nymph...
What size hook is that?
Awesome idea with the foam on your spool and great looking patern
Too fast to follow
Wow! I’ve been fighting blood knots till I saw this video today... making that loop is amazing now I can do it in 30 seconds thanks dude👍👍
👎👎👎👎👎
Just watched a half a dozen videos and then saw this. Could've saved myself an hour if I watched this one first. Awesome and simple (my style)! Thanks!
Genius !! 🇬🇧🇬🇧 !
Thats awesome works well Thank you
Necessity is the mother of invention and you proved it👍 Great idea and a no nonsense presentation. Liked and subscribed.
Good job. Thanks for sharing.
It’s nerf or nuthin awesome thanks this video should be on top of this search
Perfect.
Great idea with the foam. But I don't want a nerf gun...lol, I wonder if bullets are sold separately. Perhaps I'll snoop around the crafts department and see if an alternative is available.
What did you use at the end to push your hackle back for tying whip finish.
thanks
Terrific video. As others have said, clean and simple. I’ve been using those sleeves w loops, but will switch back to this. Tks!!
Great video. Thanks so much for posting ☺
Nice fly 👍
ok
Beat EVER!!!!
That's art
Is this up river from Lake Logan, I don't recognize the waters or is this down river from lake Logan? New to trout fishing and family have a place in Canton so I usually fish up from lake Logan.
Excellent connection, secure and unobtrusive. Good to know.
Prince nymph with a golden pheasant tippet tail...wow.
great fly Ron what was the hook and size you used thanks for the post Mark
When I cinch it down it seems to cut into the fly line. Any shot of it cutting through the fly line eventually?
To all the comments on, "thats a uni knot," If you really understood knots you would know they turn out the same and are the exact same knot; noose, nail, tube, uni, call it what you want. Don't believe me, tie them all with a small rope and see what they are, even the needle knot is the exact same knot with the leader threaded through the line. The only thing you have to do is make sure the uni doesn't get wrapped on itself when pulling it tight and it is the exact same know.
What hook are you using?
The only video on here for tying with no tool and you dont even say anything step by step.
Very helpful
The bullet gun one is fantastic headed to Wal-Mart now to grab some thanks.
Nice Fly !
Like the nerf dart idea. Awesome!
It's a uni knot. It wont hold as well as a nail knot. When connecting two lines together people use a diuble uni knot. Not practical for a fly line
You don't know what your talking about

@@boobookittyfuck3344 and you don't know how to tie knots and what the difference between them is. I'd take the typo
