I want to believe this wholeheartedly, but I struggle…. When we feel like God doesn’t take care, how do we explain that? When those of strong faith, for instance, pass away at a young age, when justice is denied, when the calls for justice fall on deaf ears, when the entire system is corrupt, it’s hard to feel that anything is being taken care of. I’m a person of faith, I pray daily, it’s just sometimes it’s very hard….we explain it by saying mission, karma, when the time is right, God’s plan, etc…. that may provide comfort to some but it’s not a solution. The tragedy that has happened can’t be undone…. India is wonderful at marketing spirituality at the global level, most don’t practice what they preach. Definitely people in positions of power don’t. They lack the courage, the integrity, the will, to really make a difference when they can, to ease the suffering of others. For that one doesn’t even need to be spiritual or learned. Basic human decency is missing…
